A Happy Repeat Birdhouse Customer
My daughter and I travel regularly to Spokane every month for the last two years and the Birdhouse is definitely at the top of our list for places to stay. We love the bird themed décor. There are so many little extra touches to make our stay feel special and there is everything we need in the kitchen to cook our meals. The owners go to great lengths to make the Birdhouse feel like a home away from home. It is obviously a much loved house from outside in the yard to inside. We also appreciate how clean the house is kept every single time we come to stay. We especially appreciate that the house is clean without all the added overpowering strong fragrances so commonly used. The fenced in yard is perfect to bring your little furry kid with you. We bring our five lb Maltese/Chihuahua on each trip who loves her stay at the Birdhouse as much as we humans do. The neighborhood has always been pleasant and quiet every time we have visited. I have enjoyed some lovely walks around the neighborhood and I feel completely safe there. People are friendly and greet me as I walk past. There is on-site parking beside the house which is nicer than just street parking. We have only used the two bedrooms upstairs, not needing the downstairs, and we find the beds quite comfy. The Birdhouse is a very nice updated older home. We have been comfortable there in the winter, and equally comfortable in the summer. Every time we visit, there is a very nice greeting by name on the welcome board by the kitchen. We already look forward to our next visit!

Perfect Stay at the Birdhouse
Every month, my daughter and I travel 404 miles to Spokane for medical reasons, and we stay at the Birdhouse quite often on those trips. We bring our little 5 lb dog, Maia with us too. Each time we stay it is perfect, just like the listing. The house and yard are well maintained and obviously loved from all the extra special touches such as nice landscaping, enclosed fenced yard, heated toilet seat, snacks, nice décor, fully equipped kitchen with everything needed to cook a meal and serve it (including nice appliances such as the fridge, stove and microwave) and more. There are dog toys and dog bowls as well. We have always just used the two upstairs bedrooms so we haven't tried the downstairs, but the beds are comfy, the neighborhood is quiet and pleasant, so we sleep well. The driveway allows us to park our car off street which we prefer. Every trip to the Birdhouse has been really quite nice. After a long car ride, it is really great to be able to arrive at such an inviting house which is so nicely prepared and maintained for guests. There hasn't been any down side and we look forward to returning.

Couldn't Have Been Better....
My daughter and I travel regularly to Spokane every four weeks for medical appointments. We have stayed in quite a few houses in Spokane and we find the Birdhouse, and its sister property, the Beehive, to be top quality places to stay. Our visit this time was in December, 2021. The neighborhood is quite nice and quiet, just a 10 minute drive to the medical district. There is parking in the driveway of the house. The photos on Vrbo accurately describe the property. The property is fenced if you bring your furry kid with you and it is very nicely landscaped. In good weather it is really nice and relaxing to sit outside. The house is older, but nicely updated. The heating system is also quite good so you'll be nice and warm in the winter, unlike some old drafty houses (we didn't stay downstairs in the spare bedroom, but the upstairs two bedrooms were very comfortable). The kitchen is very well stocked with everything needed to cook and serve meals with a full stove, dishwasher, fridge and microwave. Everything is clean too! The hosts obviously love their house, as it has so many lovely nice touches and décor to make guests feel comfortable and at home, inside and out. We have stayed at the Birdhouse several times, and each time has been very nice. We have never had any kind of negative experience or found anything to be critical about. It is just simply a great place to stay every time.

Another Lovely Stay at the Birdhouse
I regularly travel to Spokane for a couple of days each month with my daughter for her medical treatment. We recently stayed at the Birdhouse, one of our favorite places. After a long day of driving, it is such a pleasure to walk into the welcoming and cozy Birdhouse. It has 3 bedrooms (2 up and one down) but we just needed the two upstairs. The listing shows the house quite accurately. There is lovely bird décor and many little extra touches to make the house more comfortable and homey. For your furry friend, the house is fully fenced and there are even toys available. The neighborhood is quiet and nice. We slept quite well at the Birdhouse on comfy beds. The kitchen is well equipped with good appliances to heat up or create meals. The owners obviously enjoy hosting guests and they are easy to reach if required. My daughter and I really enjoy the Birdhouse and its sister property, the Beehive when we come to Spokane.

I'm the kind of guy who could best be described as a perfectionist when it comes to keeping my properties in pristine condition and ready for you! I moved from Mesa, Arizona to Spokane six years ago, and I've never looked back! For my occupation, I am an editor and author, but my avocation and passion is also found in my properties ... and taking care of my traveling guests. I am always available and willing to help in any way I can.

What makes this property unique

This little cottage is located in a very serene, peaceful neighborhood. For relaxation, it's hard to beat. The yard is completely fenced off, which helps with those who bring their four-legged buddies!

The front yard looks like a masterpiece, always being groomed and maintained for your enjoyment. From time to time you may be there on mowing day, but we will do our best to mow and trim while you're away. If not, we will check with you to see if you'd mind if we proceeded with the mowing.

Security is an important feature in this day and age. The Birdhouse is located in a wonderful neighborhood, however, for the protection of our guests, as well as our property, there are three security cameras on the outside of the building. There is one covering the front entrance, one covering the back door and one in the driveway facing the street. These cameras are not invasive to your privacy, and are only monitored in the event of any criminal activity or accident that may call for a review of the security footage.

The parking is never a problem, as the driveway is very long and will accommodate all your needs. We would recommend that you park closer to the garage door to avoid the sprinklers hitting your car.
