Awesome place!

  • 5 of 5

My group went up to do some ATVing around the area, this house is the perfect spot! The house was clean, has a nice deck overlooking a river as shown in the picture. We used the grill as we relaxed after a day of riding. By trail, Jericho State Park is about a 30 minute ride. Diane was really nice to work with and even checked in via email during our stay!

Wonderful Stay

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I, along with another couple stayed in this home over memorial day weekend. Our main purpose for staying in the area, was to explore the Jericho and surrounding trail systems with our ATV's. It is amazing to be able to access the trail systems right from the house. We drove to a new restaurant every day via ATV and it took roughly 2-3 hours to do so. All of the towns and restaurants visited were fantastic! Our only complaint would be the insane amount of bugs (mainly mosquitos). They made it almost impossible to sit outside and enjoy the waterfalls or sit by the fire. We ended up purchasing multiple tiki torches filled with citronella and citronella candles to make it tolerable. I believe this is mainly d/t the time of year we visited, but my recommendation would be the purchase hats with mosquito nets (as I saw many locals wearing them). The home has 3 bedrooms, and many additional sleeping areas and can definitely accommodate large groups. The house was very nice, the photos do not do it justice. We definitely plan to return, but will be investing in some hats with mosquito nets.

Great river!

  • 5 of 5

My father and I went last year at the end of atv season. The river behind the house was incredible. Defiantly wasn’t no brook. It had category 5 rapids . Extremely loud. We loved it. Place was clean. Defiantly would recommend it for someone else. Loved that the lot on the other side of the river is for us to park. It was very convenient. Only complaint was it smelled a little like cigarettes in the house. Will go back.

Owner's Response: So glad you enjoyed your stay. . .I ask that people smoke outside, but not everyone is compliant. I've since thoroughly cleaned the window treatments and area rugs to eliminate the smell. Also, a nice feature, is the sofa cushion covers are removable, so I launder those often too. Thank you so much for your review, they are very helpful Diane

Truly a lovely, lovely spot!

  • 5 of 5

We rented this property for a weekend family getaway. The place was spotless and welcoming. The set up is perfect for a large group. We had three adult couples and four young children. Everyone had their own space and the large open concept kitchen/living area provided ample space for all of us to gather and for the kids to play. Will absolutely come back again. Diane was always pleasant and available to answer any questions.
