|Minimum Stay||2 nights|
Plan a luxurious getaway to Kings Beach and beautiful, crystal blue Lake Tahoe with a stay at this four-bedroom, split level, lakefront vacation condo. And this isn't just any perfectly located, stylish vacation condo, but a famous one - the interior on this space was designed by stylist Nathan Turner and even featured in C Magazine a couple of years ago!
Situated in Brockway Shores, you'll have a private beach right on Lake Tahoe to play on, boat dock access, and lots of tall trees surrounding you for a memorable, delightful Tahoe trip, be it for skiing with the family, boating with a group of friends, or just seeing the sights year-round.
From the living room, you'll be able to take in stunning lake views, while warming yourself in front of the large rock-faced, wood burning fireplace. Comfortable furniture is set up in a way to make relaxing and conversation easy. There's plenty of artwork to enjoy, as well as a state-of-the-art, 42-inch flat screen TV with cable and a DVD player. When you're not out enjoying the nightlife in Kings Beach or across the Nevada state line, you can pop in a DVD, make some popcorn, and settle in for a movie night with family or friends.
Right off the open dining and living rooms, you'll find a large deck with patio furniture and a gas grill for scenic afternoon cookouts, before dinner cocktails, or even practicing morning yoga. The dining table will seat 10 for meals with quite a bit of rustic character, thanks to the antler chandelier. From the table, you'll also have great blue lake views to take in.
When you want to stay in for home-cooked meals, the chef in your group will love the bright, modern kitchen! With granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, making meals here will be a joy. There's even a butler's pantry so you'll have plenty of room to store your groceries for the week. And of course, there's a dishwasher for easy clean up. You'll also find a slow cooker here - spend the day on the slopes and come home to the smells of a hearty rosemary lamb stew.
The master bedroom has a king sized bed and access to the lakefront deck. The lucky inhabitant of this room will enjoy bringing their coffee back to bed and leisurely waking up in the morning surrounded by serene coziness. An en suite bathroom is attached with a double sink vanity, granite counters, and a tiled shower.
There's also a queen bedroom, and a bedroom with two twin beds, a TV, and deck access. The fourth bedroom in this condo has a comfortable sleeper sofa and a desk for working on a laptop, sketching in a travel journal, or just storing books and travel items. In addition to a half bath, there's also another full bathroom with granite counters and a relaxing jacuzzi tub.
This vacation condo will comfortably sleep eight guests and other amenities include a washer and dryer in a large laundry room, WiFi, and a stereo with a CD player.
As wonderful as the interior of this condo is, the location is even more desirable. Stroll down to the private beach and walk along the shore or head to the private dock and take an evening boat ride around the lake. If you don't have your own boat to bring on vacation, you can rent one (or even a kayak) right in town at numerous shops. Not surprisingly, Kings Beach is also home to many beaches for more frolicking, sand castle building, or picnicking by the shore. Golfers won't feel neglected here either, the historic Old Brockway Golf Course (rated one of the top 10 golf course in Northern California by Golf Today Magazine) is only a mile to the west.
On evenings when you don't feel like cooking, there are a number of restaurants right in town, many just a 5 to 15 minute walk away. Hearty breakfasts can be had at Log Cabin Caffe and there's even all you can eat nigiri and maki at Hiro Sushi. If you're feeling lucky, right across the Nevada state line you'll find the Crystal Bay Casino and its world class entertainment, fine dining, and casino games.
In winter, skiing at Northstar California Resort in Truckee is a mere 10 minutes from your door and snowshoeing around the forested areas is a snowy option as well. For a bit of variety the ski resorts of Alpine Meadows and Squaw Valley are both a 30 minute drive away too. We're sure that whether you come to Kings Beach and Lake Tahoe for boating, golfing, or skiing, you'll find this luxurious vacation condo a delight to return to each evening!
