Awesome
What a Great place to stay...Away from all the craziness of the town of Helen but really ONLY 5-10 min drive to get to the main street of town. We just was there to chill and take some time from our crazy life. But really a super cabin to stay at! Rachel was very quick to respond to any questions or concerns! 5 star rating for us. Thanks, DB

Thanksgiving Week!
The host was great! Her communication was perfect! Check in was easy and the location is very close to downtown Helen! If you need/want WiFi this is NOT the cabin for you! There is absolutely no service. Our phones were in SOS mode the entire time but it was nice to disconnect for a few days however we have small kids so a fire stick and internet would have been nice. ( Also the DVD player is hit or miss w no remote ) Overall the cabin is beautiful and spacious! It did need a deep clean as there were a few critters in the corners but nothing to be too worried about! We enjoyed our stay and the hot tub was nice! Beds are comfy too!

Friends weekend for Oktoberfest
We went with two other couples for a long weekend. We really enjoyed the pool table and hot tub. The location is great for Helen. Things to know:. The upstairs bedroom is open, so there is no door to block sound from the main floor. The downstairs bedroom has no windows which is great if you like complete darkness when you sleep. The driveway is very steep in case you’re riding a motorcycle. Also, the kitchen is quite small for such a large cabin, but we still loved it. the outside of the cabin could use some stain and some cleaning but nothing horrible. Overall we had a great time and the cabin was overall clean and the property manager was very responsive to any questions. The hot tub was clean and could hold four adults comfortably. we would love to come back to this cabin for another long weekend soon

Perfect cozy cabin in great location
We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed the cabin. It was clean, cozy and comfortable. The pool table kept us busy before we would head into Helen( a 2 mile drive). We had 5 in our party and it was great having 3 separate bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. We can’t wait to go back!

What makes this property unique

Eagles Peak is nestled in the woods (backs up to Chattahoochee Nat'l Forest) where nights are dark for star-gazing in its quiet seclusion. Yet, the town of Helen is only a 3-minute drive away! Also close are Smithgall Woods, the Richard Russell Scenic Highway, Unicoi State Park, & Brasstown Bald. The cabin is ideally located for fishing (stream & lake), hunting (dear, black bear, wild turkey, etc), tubing, horseback riding, zip lining!
