Warning: Greedy Owner, Don’t Recommend Booking With Them!
Greed. It is such an ugly word. But there is no other way to describe this owner. We booked our trip for March 10-13th, which happend to coincide with a snow emergency being declared in Mammoth Lakes due to a significant and impactful atmospheric river winter storm slamming into the area for our weekend. The town of Mammoth Lakes told visitors to stay home as they were dealing with dangerously narrow roads and roof collapses. We we told that first responders and emergency snow removal workers needed access and priority. The owner knew we were coming from the north. The 395 north of Mammoth was closed the entire weekend (it’s still closed). The 395 from the south was closed south of Mammoth most of the weekend. There was simply no physical way to get to Mammoth if we foolishly and against all recommendations made an attempt. We asked the owner in light of these incredibly dangerous and historic conditions if they would allow us to cancel our trip and refund our money. We also offered to move our dates to another weekend. They refused and still refuse to work with us. Their behavior is repugnant. Don’t book with these people because in the end it’s all about the money with them.

Big and clean!
Our second stay here! This place is great for my family; loft for the teenager, bunk bed for the kids, TVs in every room, 3 bathrooms and two dining rooms. This year our friends (a family of 4) stayed with us. It was perfect because of all the dining space and large kitchen. The kids have their own kiddie table to eat at and the adults can gather right in between the kitchen and the living room. It really is a perfect setup for us since we try to stay in and cook. Kitchen is well stocked with cookware, bakeware, cutlery, dishes, etc. The only improvement this place can make is invest in a new stove. That old school electric stove is wobbly, one of the burners didn't work well and one didn't even turn on at all. All in all, great place and we'll be back. Also, the keyless entry made it easy for everyone to get inside with the code.

Nice Place, convenient to the mountain as well as town.
Everything was great except for a few burnt out light bulbs and/or flickering ones that drove some of us nuts! Also, the family room TV is a train wreck. Someone needs to spend some time and a little bit of money to integrate all the remotes so that it actually works!

Great stay
Large, open space. Clean, well stocked kitchen, perhaps cloth dish towels would save some paper towels but this doesn't take away from the property or stay. Easy access to the red line. Bedding, heat and bath towels were perfect. Games, books, fireplace, tv’s in every room and sound bar were nice extras. Thank you for a comfortable family stay!
