Our beautiful and spacious flat with private entrance is located in one of San Francisco's southernmost neighborhoods with convenient access to transportation and freeways. This 1400 sq ft living space is located two blocks from BART and a quarter of a block from MUNI. It was recently remodeled to provide our guests with all the amenities of a home away from home. It is located on the second floor of a house. Will consider short stays of less than 30 days.

Lots of space, clean and comfortable
We stayed here for 4 nights and were very pleased with the space we had. It was all very clean, with some useful basic food items we made use of. The beds were all very comfortable. Kristine was quick to respond to any questions we had. Within walking distance of buses and trains which took us into the centre of San Francisco. It is a bit of a distance out but we made use of the buses mainly and it would probably have been quicker to take the trains. A good way of seeing different parts of the city though. A great place to stay.

Excellent Outer Mission Location
Stayed in this fantastic apartment on the top floor of an individual home. Plenty of room for a family of five - two adults, three teenagers. It met all of our expectations, matching up exactly with the images we saw online. The place is very spacious, has excellent wi-fi, nicely-furnished kitchen and bathrooms, comfortable beds, pillows and towels. We couldn't have asked for more. The Balboa Park BART station is just a couple of minutes away by foot, and the individual parking spot behind a gate was very nice for us. The location was smooth as we drove in and out on the 280, visiting Monterey one day and Muir Woods another. This was our third Home Away rental and definitely the best. Kristine communicated quickly and was very easy to work with, arrival and departure was smooth and well-explained. Highly recommend.

Great Place for a Family of 4 to Stay
The house was very nicely updated with a new kitchen and bathrooms. when they remodelled, they kept a lot of the character so it hd a nice mix of old and new. We loved the amount of space available. The the bedrooms were quite big, and my two teenagers appreciated the two double beds in the second bedroom. The parking is really good, we had our own little area in the fenced in back yard. It was also very convenient to all the places we were visiting, as we didn't just go to downtown SF. The only downside was the traffic noise. But it didn't take long for us to get used to it. Thanks, we really enjoyed our stay. I would definitely recommend this property for a visit to SF. Lots of room to spread out and get comfortable.

Wonderful place.
The place was in great shape, lots of room. The owners were very considerate and supplied it well. It was a short walk to the BART station so we could get anywhere we needed to go.

Spacious and comfortable with great transportation options
I loved my two weeks stay here. The kitchen is fabulous, the bed very comfortable, and anything a visitor might need has been provided. It is short walk to BART and MUNI; by car access to 280 is right there.

When we travel, we seek out local experiences, different flavors, and opportunities to live like a local. By offering our rental at a home that's been in our family for over twenty years, we hope to provide visitors with that same unique experience. One that leaves them with a particular fondness whenever they think of San Francisco and makes them want to return again and again.

Why they chose this property

My in-laws immigrated to San Francisco from Hong Kong in the mid-70's with not much more than a few suitcases. Through years of hard work in farming, child care, and real estate, they saved enough money to purchase their first property. This home represents their American Dream. A large house on a spacious lot where they could raise their family and indulge in their passion, gardening.
