About Jerry Collins

I live on the property adjacent to Sweethome Place, and am a hands on owner as to taking special care and attention to maintenance of our vacation, business, and relocation rental. I have been in this area for over 20 years and love living in this peaceful valley.

Jerry Collins purchased this townhome in 1997

Why Jerry Collins chose Chapmansboro

I love this area and own 3 pieces of property on Sweethome Road. All the neighbors in this little valley have become like a family. We chose to build our final home out here because of the beauty and tranquility that it offers, as well as the friendly people. There is an abundance of birds, deer, and other small wildlife that we enjoy watching. The entire southern side of my home is all windows, which is like a new canvas of beauty to observe each morning that I arise and as I drink my coffee. This canvas rotates and renews each spring, fall, summer and winter for the viewer to see.

What makes this townhome unique

Sweethome Place offers a cozy chalet like interior with lots of stone, brick, and western cedar. It has the feel of just what your were looking for in a home away from home. You might want to just kick back in the recliner in front of a cozy little fire with a hot cup of chocolate, tea, or wine. Or, you may want to venture out and visit all the many sights and attractions in our area. Either way, if you want to cook up your own gourmet meal, you may do so in your fully equipped kitchen or go out for a fine dining experience.

Guestbook comments from the manager

Dear Rhonda, We appreciate your review and comments very much. We will certainly consider trying to get another TV wired up and ready for the upstairs bedroom. We are very happy that you enjoyed your stay and love to hear from our travelers about anything else we can do to make our guests have even more of an enjoyable stay, Thanks, Charlotte

Excellent Experience

  • 5 of 5

My Family stayed there, the house is exactly same as described. Owner Jerry does comes and checked in on us, that we were comfortable. Kids enjoyed the house. It is little bit away from the Nashville, but the comfort and homely feeling the house has is well worth it.

Nice house, Property Manager is very helpful and friendly.

  • 4 of 5

Only negative there really nothing to do. You really have to drive about 30 mins even for a good meal. The property manager did warm me about this. This would be ideal for families that love to fish. Home has plenty of room for sleeping. Everyone we ran into was so I've and helpful...

Overall we were very pleased with our stay here. Charlotte was a gracious host who took time out to walk through the property to show me around and explain certain things. Will use this place again if we have another huge family gathering in the future. Thank you Charlotte!
