Only 10 minutes (5 miles) to Disney's World Drive which is the main entrance to Disney parks! Private home / villa - NOT a condo or townhouse. Four bedrooms, two baths, Private screened in sunny pool that faces South and West, Large yard with NO rear neighbors gives you the peace and privacy you desire after a long day at the parks - or just to lounge around. Although the neighborhood has a walking trail, it does NOT go through our yard like it does on many other homes! Good Location
Overall, our experience was good, and the house met our needs. The pool was great, and the deck got a lot of use from our senior parents who just loved sitting out there to relax and read. Roger was a good host and tried to solve any problems we had. That being said, the property is looking a little tired and some of the furniture could use some updates i.e., the bed was hard and the sofa/loveseat in the family room were uncomfortable. There were a few things missing, like scissors and a baking sheet (for reheating food), that would have made our stay more comfortable that we ended up purchasing. The other thing is that there was no place to store our non-refridgerated groceries. You had to put them on the counters which reduced any prep space to the absolute minimum. The thing that was most annoying was that as we were hunkered down for Hurricane Nicole, we discovered that there wasn’t a candle, flashlight, or first aid kit anywhere to be found in case of an emergency. Also, the management company didn’t check up on us even once. Roger reached out, but as he doesn’t live in Florida there wasn’t much he could do for us.

Lovely vacation
We enjoyed our stay at Hidden Paradise. Roger was a great host. He even messaged us one night when he heard there was a severe thunderstorm headed our way! The pool was perfect and a huge hit with our preschooler. We rented some baby equipment for our one year old and the rental company was able to coordinate with the property management company, seamlessly for us. There is no bath tub, which meant we had to get creative when giving our kids their bath, but we knew that from the listing. I’m only mentioning it for other young families that may have missed it! There’s also a propane stove, which is great, but I was nervous about our preschooler being able to reach the controls for it (there’s no lock or anything for the controls). We LOVED how close we were to everything we had planned to do on our trip. Minutes to World Drive and close to Walmart and Target for necessities. My husband and I enjoyed going through the movie collection. There are some good classics in there that we had forgotten about! Thanks, Roger!!

A perfect holiday villa in a fantastic location
We were in the villa for almost 3 weeks, my two teenage sons loved having their own rooms, the pool and the games room. The villa is spacious and private. We cooked some evenings and found the kitchen resources perfect for everything we cooked. Roger, the host, was lovely, very helpful and friendly. Plus points: the space, the location for Disney Parks, shops etc, and the fact I didn’t have to carry around a key! I can not recommend this villa enough, I would absolutely book it again if I come back to Florida.

Relaxing family rental
Comfortable house in a quiet neighborhood. Pool is well maintained with plenty of seating to soak up the sun. Game room with pool table was a big hit with our teen.

Why they chose this property

After touring many properties, we found this gem. We purchased this home from the original owners, a nice retired couple from Scotland that used it to go on holiday. The home was well cared for with many upgraded features, so it gave a 'home' feel rather than a typical rental.

What makes this property unique

We like peace and quiet and privacy. This home sits on an over-sized lot with no rear neighbors, walking paths, or other public distractions.
