Another Great Stay
This is our second time staying at the property. We love the outdoor space where we can sip our wine creekside. The house is centrally located between Napa and the Russian River, a 30 to 40 minute drive and only a few minutes from several excellent wineries and downtown Sonoma. Landmark and MacLaren wineries are right down the street so plan on a visit. The house has everything you need and works for two couples or a few girlfriends. My only concern was the water pressure in the shower. Other than that it was a perfect visit with great communication from the owner.
Beautiful setting but a 30 to 40 minute to the Napa wineries. The house is cozy and clean, the water pressure in the shower and kitchen. Overall we really enjoyed our stay!!!
Great place to stay!
It was very clean, cozy and close to everything we wanted to see. The house was well stocked, everything worked, and the creek behind the house was the crowning glory. Allison/John were very responsive to any questions we had. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
Relaxing, Quiet, and Quaint
The cottage was clean, spacious, and had everything we could have required. It was so peaceful to sit, talk, and having coffee by the stream, and the hot tub only added to the relaxation. Definitely would stay here again!
Pleasant wooded oasis
Wonderful location… House was well-maintained and cozy. In the hot tub by the creek what is the best…kitchen could have had a little more cooking ware and spices, however, and Internet/wifi was not strong nor stable
Lovely, clean and gracious. Even nicer than the pictures!
Perfect for two couples. And it’s nice that there’s a creek outside. Would love to be here when the weather is nice. We loved our stay.
There are ten wineries in a two mile radius of this lovely wine country cottage. It is one mile to Landmark Winery and Kaz Winery. Sugarloaf Ridge State Park is a mere 1.5 miles from the house, and there you will find 25 miles of hiking trails and stunning views from the 2,729 foot summit. Also at the park is an observatory with shows and events .Adjacent to the property is a trail to Hood Mountain Regional Park where you can hike and explore forests and wildlife. For a fun, interactive lesson in California history, drive 13 miles to historic Sonoma, the site of the 1846 Bear Flag Revolt. While there, visit the Mission San Francisco de Solano where you will see rooms and costumes recreated from its 1830's heyday. At the Sonoma Plaza, enjoy fine dining and shopping. it is a short drive (7 miles) to Jack London State Historic Park , where you can see the ruins of Jack London's famous Wolf House and explore the museum. If you enjoy pampering, visit the spa at the Kenwood Inn and have a vinotherapy wrap, or a facial or massage. For the more adventurous, a 3.5 mile drive takes you to horseback riding at Triple Creek Horse Outfit . Or drive 20 minutes to Kenwood Hot Air Balloons and view the wine country from the air . There is something for everyone!
