The City: VisitBrighton is the official Brighton tourism information guide for the city of Brighton and Hove.

England’s loveliest and liveliest city by the sea. Brighton and Hove is fun, cosmopolitan and uniquely eccentric all year round.
Regency architecture, pleasure pier, specialist shops, pavement cafés, lively arts scene and vibrant nightlife everything’s in walking distance, so take time to explore and enjoy.
And with a backdrop of the Sussex Downs and traditional English countryside, Brighton and Hove is a great base for exploring the region.
Brighton is one of the most vibrant, colourful and creative cities in Europe. Cosmopolitan, compact, energetic, unique, fun, lively, historic, young, exotic and free-spirited, it's a city like no other.
Nestling between the South Downs & the sea on the stunning south coast, Brighton offers everything from Regency heritage to beachfront cool.
A fantastic mix of iconic attractions, famed nightlife, award winning restaurants, funky arts.

Gay Brighton: Brighton has a thriving and diverse gay scene which ranges from leather bars, to country and western line dancing, to techno clubs. Brighton has long been known as the number one gay seaside resort in the south of England.

As well as the usual tourists and visitors Brighton also acts as a magnet for lesbians and gay men from all over the UK and abroad who are attracted by its bohemian atmosphere, easy going attitude and raffish air. This has led to one of the largest populations of lesbians and gay men in the UK. Much of the Brighton gay scene is concentrated in the Kemptown area of Brighton, the focal point being St James's Street and the Old Steine. It's here you'll find most of the clubs, shops and bars mentioned in the guide, so many in fact that Kemptown has become known as Brighton's Gay Village.
The perfect location for your Brighton Weekend break.

Excellent stay at 3 Southdown Mews
Me and some friends and family stayed a few days for my brother in law's stag. We had a great time! The property was very clean and spacious, the area was great for amenities, restaurants, bars etc. For anyone having a UK based stag do, I would thoroughly recommend!!

Excellent House, Great Location
As a hen party of 13, the house was in a excellent location, just a short bus ride or 10/15 min walk to Brighton centre. The house was massive loads of room for 13 of us. The host Mark was excellent contacted him a couple of times with questions and he replied straight back nothing was to much trouble. Would highly recommend Thanks again

Clean, Spacious, Excellent Location
14 of us stayed here for my sister's hen do, and we had the best time. Before our stay, Pam was great with communicating, answering all of my questions really quickly, and also letting us have a late check-out at no extra cost which with 14 of us, was a blessing! We were also allowed to check-in early too as we arrived a couple of hours before the check-in time, which was so helpful as I wanted to get things set up before my sister arrived. There was space for 2 cars on the drive which were really handy, and Pam even left us a box of chocolates and fizz on arrival which was a lovely touch. The house itself was very clean with enough bedding and towels for us all, and it felt more spacious than I thought it would, which with so many of us, was a big plus. The kitchen had everything we needed, with a large fridge and freezer which was helpful. We all managed to sit around the kitchen table, and also sit in the living room too, so we were really happy about that. There is a large dishwasher which came in really handy, and we were left a few dishwasher tabs and helpful bits and pieces like that which were very welcome. The house is situated in Kemptown which is a lively area of Brighton with some lovely cosy/cool bars and cafes (The Black Dove and Block Bar were two of our favourites), we went out on Friday night to a few bars and it was so convenient to just be able to walk back afterwards. You're also really close to the sea and Brighton centre is only a 10 minute walk away. All in all this was a fantastic place to stay, the owner was so professional and on hand when we had an issue, I also got my full deposit back really quickly. I would recommend this house to anyone and will definitely stay here again should the need arise!
