Enjoy your early morning coffee, or afternoon mai tai's and pupu's sitting out on the lanai while watching the humpback whales breaching in the distance, as well as the phenomenal sunsets. You will enjoy a full 180 degree unobstructed ocean view from this 2 bedroom 2 bathroom ground level condo, in a 50 unit complex. A smaller complex means not as many guests at the pool, as those complexes with a large number of units.

Located directly across the street from Cove Park, a common surfing location, and one block from Charlie Young & Kamaole I beaches.

Onsite amenities include swimming pool, hot tub, tennis courts and on deck BBQ's.

As well we do not charge a resort fee for our amenities.

Also, there is no charge parking and we are allowed on stall per unit. There is plenty of parking for a second vehicles on the street

The unit contains 2 bedrooms with a queen and single bed in each room, full kitchen, in suite laundry, 2 full bathrooms and will comfortably accommodate 6-8 people. Full Air-conditioning.

Our families have been coming to Maui since the early 80's, it has always been a paradise for us. It is relaxing, easy to get around, and a very comfortable location.

What makes this condo unique

The most unique thing about our property is the ability to sit on the lanai and watch the ocean, whales and surfers at any time. No obstruction to your view, simply breath taking. Not to mention the beautiful renovation completed Oct 2017. We pride ourselves in our crystal clear water in our heated pool.

And remember a smaller complex means not as many guests at the pool.

This location is fantastic for a quiet getaway or a family vacation. It's clean, accessible, and safe! The kitchen has everything we needed (including a blender) and I appreciated the selection of beach towels and chairs provided by the owner. I don't know what I enjoyed more - my coffee on the deck watching early morning surfers or my late afternoon fruity drink on the deck watching the sun set. I love the fact that you're only a stone's throw away from beautiful beaches or you can enjoy a private swimming pool on the property. Need groceries? Need souvenirs? Need a massage? All are walkable! We also toured many of the island destinations by car from this location and found all doable within the day (start early for the Haleakala volcano at sunrise and the Road to Hana!) We enjoyed reasonably priced golf and a variety of shopping. The warm sea breezes and incredible surf will keep me coming back! I would definitely recommend this property!!

Beautiful View in the perfect location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Renotta Place! It felt just like home with all of the amenities we needed to be comfortable. The view was magnificent and the location is great. The condo is spacious with a well stocked kitchen, parking on site and easy access to the beach. The owner was very responsive with any questions as we were trying to plan or trip and helpful when our airlines cancelled our flight. It was nice to deal with real people. We would definitely plan another trip back next year!

#1 For Family Vacation on Maui

We're January regulars, having stayed in this suite more than 6 years, with an ownership change along the way. The suite always had "Great Bones", but with the extremely well thought out 2017 renovation, the decor matches the view, in one word, SUPERB. After living with the unit for a few years, the owners were able to incorporate absolutely everything a Hawaii vacationer is looking for in a rental condo. It is lovely and open with a bedroom / bathroom combo at each end of the unit. Also being a corner suite, lots of light, views in two directions and good cross ventilation.

Most places on South Kihei Road feel pretty exposed to the traffic or far back on the property. However, this ground floor unit sits alone with one other, at the very front of the complex up more than one storey from the road ... so private, so secure.

The building/property itself has a nice size and feel, with guests returning each year quite often at the same time. So nice to reunite with old friends annually.

Facilities are similar to those provided in a much larger complex ... Pool is great, as is hot tub, pool deck, three barbeques AND tennis court, great parking as well. The entire complex is very well maintained and cared for by a live-in caretaker and it shows as do the attached photos. (If I manage to get them attached!!)

Our families recommendation: Do not hesitate in booking a condo at the Shores of Maui AND if you can book this suite you've snared the BEST unit in a very well located Kihei complex!

Beautiful condo in a great location

I would highly recommend this property! The recently-finished renovation looks great..the condo was beautifully furnished and worked out really well for our family of 5. We loved the ocean view, sitting on the lanai to watch the sunset, and thought the location was great...we enjoyed being able to walk to restaurants and shops as well as having the park and little beach so close by, with a bigger beach just a short walk down the road. The condo was very well stocked with beach chairs, boogie boards and umbrellas that were available for us to use. Throughout the entire process, from pre-booking to after we checked out, the owner Renotta was very helpful and communicative. When we had a small issue with an interior door, a glitch from the renovation, Renotta responded immediately, and had the contractor at the condo to fix it literally within 1/2 hour of when I first emailed her! Overall it was a great stay. My only suggestion is that for me personally, I'd prefer to pay a little more towards my cleaning fee if it meant I didn't have to spend the final morning of my vacation washing bedding (but I realize a lot of people probably don't feel this way. :-)) Overall, though, it was a wonderful stay, and we would definitely stay here again should our travels bring us back to the Kihei area. Thank you!

Our family of four loved the location and views from the condo. Everything was in great condition. The owner was very helpful with information and things to do in the area. The patio is a beautiful place to watch the sunset!

The property is well maintained and very quiet even though it is located on the Main Street.

Beautifully renovated and the view is remarkable. You are able to watch the outstanding sunsets from the patio. The pool area is just right for the sun worshippers. I would have found it helpful though to have a map of the property as we had difficulty finding our actual condo. Could have been me just tired from the flight. But really that would be my only comment other than it was fabulous

1. 25% is non-refundable. Only if we are able to re-rent the property will Place/Christie Family Holdings issue a refund, less a $300.00 cancellation fee.
2. After final payment, 60 days prior to check-in, all monies are forfeited if cancelled, with the exception of your damage deposit. If unit is re-rented a refund in the amount of the new reservation will be refunded up to the amount originally paid. You are accepting the unit as depicted in our description and photos on our site.
3. There is a $300 cancellation fee for any reservation canceled prior to receipt of final payment.
4. There will be no refunds for arriving late, leaving early or “no shows”.
5. Place Christie Family Holdings reserves the right to cancel a reservation for any reason beyond our control if the property becomes unavailable. If cancelled, by Place/Christie Family Holdings, a full refund will be made. Upon refund, all contractual rights and obligations, by Place/Christie Family Holdings, are released.
