About this property

Prime Spring & Summer dates still available, book NOW!

Warm weather and beach days are headed your way soon!
Enjoy the Waterfront & Downtown - we are steps from both. Check out our walk-through video on You Tube. Type WhaleTailInt 2019 in the search to see a virtual tour of the entire house.

We are less than a block from a plethora of restaurants, family-friendly activities, nightlife and historical touring. Hop on the commuter rail and day trip to Boston for great museums and culture, or head to the Cape for beaches galore and souvenir shopping. Enjoy beaches right up the street, and experience a true New England winter on the waterfront!

You’ll love the plush carpeted bedrooms and the comfortable accommodations the Whale Tail offers. My place is great for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and big groups. We've thought of everything!

The Whale Tail is the perfect spot to experience 'America's Hometown' - right at your front door. With a wide variety of excellent local cuisine and shops just steps away, you will have plenty to do and see. Visit historical museums, Plymouth Rock shops and local attractions. Plymouth beach is the biggest beach close-by (about 2 miles up RT 3A) and offers paid public parking and a beach side seasonal restaurant - 'Sandys'. Enjoy all kinds of seafood, burgers, fries and the full bar while you watch the waves and enjoy the salty spray. Never a dull moment! This is what they mean when they say LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!

Three upstairs bedrooms accommodate eight comfortably, so bring your family and friends. With a queen bed in two of the cozy bedrooms and four convertible twins in the third (two 'convert' to king size with trundles), there is plenty of room for everyone (even an extra queen pull out couch downstairs if the bff's want to come too!) Separate cooling and heating zones will keep everyone cool and comfy any time of the year. The kitchen is a great place to cook and entertain. Fully stocked, you won't need a thing! The kitchen opens onto the deck where grilling is a must year-round. The gas grill is set up year round, and the retractable awning on the porch is great for spending some time in the shade (or if it rains!). The ample dining room seats eight around a beautiful cherry dining set for a more formal gathering, complete with giraffes.

All that Plymouth has to offer is just steps from your door. Something is always happening year round for kids and adults - day and night - any season... but a quiet enough street for some serious chilling if that is what you are after.

This house is a great central location for day trips too. Boston is less than an hour drive, or "Take the 'T' in" from the local Plymouth train station. Cape Cod is a short hop down Rt. 3 - packed with beaches, bike trails and plenty more to see. At the end of the street, there is also a seasonal ferry that will take you right to the docks and beaches at Provincetown. A must see for anyone who hasn't been!

So much to do and discover - Summer is on the way - book today!

Our family had a short stay at this home during our east coast vacation. We absolutely loved this property - it was everything we needed. Well stocked, clean, and cozy. And the location is amazing - we walked everywhere. Highly recommend staying in this gem!

Cold
We were in Plymouth Christmas week. It was a very cold and windy week. The upstairs back bedroom (twin beds) did not have heat. It was very cold in there. Our adult children (20,25) ended up sleeping in jackets and hats. Other than that, the house was just what we needed and expected. Close to everything and very clean.

Growing up in the southeastern MA, I've always been drawn to the Plymouth area. It's beachy and fun, lots of things to do and lots of options. I decided to sell my more suburban home, and buy here in the heart of Plymouth. It's been fun creating a space to make visitors comfortable and ready for a great week of exploring this historically steeped area - there's nothing like New England!!
