This spacious, 1033 square foot 2 bedroom & 2 bath luxury character loft is now welcoming guests throughout the Fall and Winter. It features 16' ceilings, 8' windows, and original exposed brick. Its clean, contemporary build ties together local accents, family treasures, and a thriving houseplant collection. The whole food kitchen welcomes cooks, although the farm to table restaurants aren't to be missed. It's centrally located in one of downtown's original neighbourhoods, the Old Town & Chinatown District.

About The Owner

I'm a lifelong island resident and local photographer completing my Bachelors in Urban Planning and Communications. While I keep busy with school, work and creative projects I offer my loft to those seeking an urban boutique lifestyle home.

Why The Owner chose Downtown

I love lofts and unique urban spaces that are able to keep the history and charm of the original neighbourhood. Heritage districts are so delicate, and Chinatown has seen such an upswing in popularity. Trendy shops and boutiques are everywhere. I fell in love with the tall ceilings and original brick face; even the faint sandblasted graffiti details are still visible from when a fire destroyed the original factory. The building offers such a central location, I high level of security, flexible rental options. The building is zoned for vacation rentals, and residents and strata members work together to enjoy a respectful, friendly and supportive atmosphere for our guests and long-term residents.

Lots of Character

This place is so charming. Live plants and interesting objects d'art. The location was excellent.

Walked to High Tea at The Empress, explored the wharf, Chinatown and The Parliament building. Although there are sleeping spaces for six, it was a little crowded for 3 couples. Two couples shared the loft bedroom--we are close friends! A family of six would be fine. Also note that the women in our group were fine, but the guys would have liked a television. This was my second stay in Victoria--love this city, great architecture. Would go again and I liked this location.

Everything was lovely!

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful loft in Victoria. The location could not be better. We were able to walk everywhere, and the location is right next to Fan Tan Alley which was a little unexpected gem! We were very comfortable and had everything that we needed. Highly recommended if you are looking for something with a more personal and local feel than a hotel.

Nice space

Kat's loft is really in a great spot---great bars, restaurants and shops all very close. Within walking distance of the waterfront/capital area. The loft itself is well appointed and comfortable with underground parking. Would stay again.

Perfect stay for a girls' weekend!

This was an absolutely perfect place to stay in. Decor was on point, plenty of room for 4 women, and a location that you can't beat! Kat was also a great host and made communication/getting keys very easy. I will recommend this place to anyone and everyone and we will most definitely be back next year :D
