If you are looking to stay right across the street from family friendly Wells Beach, than this ground floor unit is for you. 66 Atlantic Avenue is a multi unit house. The house is a 30 second walk to the beach via Public Access Way #2. Skip the trolley, the mile road walk or the parking fight and stay right at the beach. There is parking for two cars right next to the unit. The unit can be accessed from either the street entrance or a back entrance. The unit has a small kitchen stocked with all the utensils needed for a stay in which all meals are prepared at your beach unit. Wifi, cable and multiple couches and chairs are provided for entertainment and comfort. Multiple ground level windows can be open for plenty of light or closed for privacy. A grill and recreation area (35ft x 37 ft) are available at the back of the unit. New flooring (2017) and a completely renovated bathroom (2017) are just a few of the updates to this unit. (All stays contingent on receipt of signed rental agreement).

Central location in lower Maine
This was the second half of our big vacation for this year with my wife and another couple. The picture of the house is a little deceiving in being that it is actually split up into several units, we had unit 1, which is the 1st floor left hand side. It is a small space, especially the kitchen, but served us well for a place to stay central to all we wanted to do. This was our first trip to Maine and the New England area, and this location is fantastic for exploring everywhere! Only 40 min to Ogunquit or Kennebunk, or Exeter NH, 1:20 to Boston, 1:30 to Salem. Thank you to the owners, David and Rebecca for sharing this house and being very responsive when contacted. I would recommend this house for anyone looking to see lower Maine and New England!

A perfect location for my needs
I was in town for a wedding and needed a location where I would be nearby to the reception hall. This was five minutes away. Waking up in the morning with the sound of the ocean was the perfect start to the busy days leading up to the big day. I will definitely be back, but for a quieter stay next time.

Great, by the beach
This is a lovely place to stay if you have kids who want to get to the beach easily and multiple times a day. We stayed in the first floor apartment and it served our needs, but I suspect that the higher floors are a little fresher because you can open the windows more easily. Overall, I would definitely stay here again. I might choose a higher floor to get a little more breeze. Also, keep in mind that you have to bring your own linens and towels. One other major plus is that there is a nice set of propane grills in the back that are free to use, and have really nice barbecues.

Great Time
We had a short visit (3 nights) in an attempt to get some sort of vacation before the nice weather is gone. This home is in an absolutely perfect location. The beach is steps away and the shops are a short walk. The backyard is wonderful to host a little lunch or dinner after a beach day. There is even a little laundry room right outside the back entrance! David was a pleasant host and responded to questions or concerns in a timely manner. As other reviews state- you can hear the other guests. Not too badly. Mostly just foot steps from the unit above. Didn’t bother us as we knew that just meant there were little ones having fun! We would love to return to this home again but next time I think we would rather stay in a unit above. Thank you so much for opening your place to us!
