Enter off wide Louisiana Avenue with its beautifully landscaped median and 100 year old live Oaks into the front garden with tinkling fountain, Ginger and Camellia. Comfy couches and chairs rest on covered front patio to relax while staying dry in the rain overlooking the Avenue.
Stepping out the rear patio French doors awaits a vibrant garden of lemon, grapefruit, Satsuma, banana, hibiscus, bougainvillea, and palms surrounding the cool clear dipping pool and hot tub spa (both kept open year round available for guests use) shaded under the pergola covered in Jasmine. Large comfy couches and chairs create a carpeted Zen-like seating area. Relax in the Key West hammock. NEWLY INSTALLED!!-Covered Gourmet Outdoor Kitchen with granite counter top, built in gas grill, side-burner and refrigerator. Ready for your outdoor BBQ party!
2 Bedrooms: Master one w/plush super comfy queen bed and a twin bed, flat screen TV, extra large closet. Front bedroom has three twin size beds adjacent to each other to create queen size bed or can be separated. Front bedroom also has a twin size sleeper sofa that opens to create another bed in the front bedroom. Ceiling fans throughout.
Enter the great room-modern fully equipped kitchen with granite island and seating for 3, dinning room with large beautiful oak table with seating for 8 and living room with large U shaped sectional sofa (also has full size pull out bed). 42” Flat screen television with cable and stereo with IPod connection. Large full bathroom with deep tub/shower combination, and washer/dryer. Plenty of soft towels, linens, pillows and unlimited hot water throughout. Private outdoor shower and toilet. Wireless internet throughout house and yards. Central AC/heat. Outdoor Gas Grill. 2 bicycles usually available. House professionally cleaned before each guest arrival. Pets and children OK with approval.

The location is outstanding. Walk to dozens of resturaunts, bars and shopping on the best section of Magazine Street. Great neighborhood. The pool and spa surrounded by gardens are spectacular. Walk to all Mardi Gras parades.

LEGAL RENTAL.
Stayed for 3 nights with our family of 5. Great location, super informative host that stays upstairs and out of the way, but is easily accessible for advice! The kids loved the pool and hot tub. We felt like native New Orleans residents in this cool neighborhood close to great restaurants and shops. Easy to get to the street car to get downtown. Overall, super happy with this property!
Came here for a boys' weekend in November. This place is PERFECT. Had 7 guys with us, and they all slept comfortably. The linens were incredibly soft, and I slept like a baby.
But other than the sleeping arrangements, there were 3 things that made this an incredible experience:
1. The location. It's a perfect spot, in a quiet neighborhood. Great bars a restaurants just up tr street (check out the Bulldog!), and a short Uber ride to the tourist spots.
2. The pool and hot tub. They were so clutch; especially after a long night in NOLA.
3. Dan. Dan's the man. He made us feel right at home, and has great suggestions for day trips and things to do. He really helped make this an absolutely fantastic experience for all.
Altogether, this was a trip for the ages, and this house was a big part of that. If I could give this 6 stars I would. Thanks, Dan!
We spent a weekend during Voodoo Fest. The house is was clean and attractive. Would definitely stay again! Dan was very helpful, friendly, and relaxed. Great location, too!
The house was absolutely perfect in every way. Pictures don't do it justice. Everything was spotless upon arrival. Dan was the perfect host as well. He was always available if we had any questions or concerns, but made sure to give us all the privacy we needed. He has been doing this for years and it shows - he has thought of literally everything when it comes to making your stay as comfortable as possible. The location is perfect as well. It is situated in a quaint neighborhood and about a 10 minute Uber to the French Quarter. There is a grocery store as well as bars and restaurants that are all within walking distance. Finally, the backyard is everything and more than I had hoped for. It truly is an oasis! I would return to this property in a heartbeat!!! Thanks again for everything, Dan! Hope to see you, Shorty and Spy Boy again in the near future! <3
The backyard was amazing and a great spot to hang out when we needed a break from all the attractions and bustle of the quarter. Location in beautiful neighborhood, close to great places to eat and drink on Magazine. House was very clean and comfortable, and Dan was a great host! We would stay here again in a heartbeat!
This was the first time I've rented a home so I was a little bit worried. Dan was great at communicating prior to our arrival and while we were there. Once we arrived the house is very spacious even for our group of 8. As many have said the pictures do this place no justice. All of the beds were fitted with hotel equivalent sheets and covers. The sound system both inside and outside the house kept us entertained. The pool was a great get away for hot mornings or late night dips after a night out. Dan offered great options even though we had a great trip planned. Overall the stay was extremely comfortable. The outside bath and shower came in handy! I would definitely recommend and come back to Dan's!! Thanks for the show Dan!!
Centrally located in the Uptown neighborhood of New Orleans. 10 minute walk (8 blocks) to St. Charles streetcar line riding to French Quarter, Garden District, Audubon Park. 3 block walk to dozens of bars, restaurants, grocery, shopping and ammenities on Magazine St. 10 blocks from world famous Tipitina's Music club. 3 blocks from bus line to French Quarter and Convention Center (10 min ride). No Car needed when staying here. Excellent location for Mardi Gras as you can walk to all parades!!
