Flat-rate taxis from the Miami Airport cost approx. $33.00 plus tip (10%) and there is an express bus called the Airport Flyer #150 that drops you at 16th & Washington for approximately $3 per trip. You can easily rent a car for a day trip at THRIFTY CAR RENTAL; they have an office conveniently located only at 15th Street & Collins. For your stay on South Beach , you may find that a car is more of a burden than anything. You can easily walk to most places, taxis are abundant and there is a local South Beach bus that only cost $0.25 per trip!
No need for a car. All attractions in South Beach are in walking distance: beach, restaurants, coffee shops, theaters, grocery & liquor stores, Lincoln Road, Ocean Drive, Espanola Way
