Custom 2,600 sq ft upscale rustic home on 6 acres with stunning views

Over 2,600 square feet of luxury rustic living on 6 acres in a rural setting. Relax and enjoy the western sunsets and natural surroundings. Beautiful hand scraped solid hardwood floors throughout the home, modern amenities combined with reclaimed accents.

This home features a large, fully equipped entertainment kitchen with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and a large rustic oak table. Lots of space for large gatherings in comfort and style. There is also a convenient laundry closet with a washer and dryer.

The great room has 16' vaulted ceilings with a large ceiling fan, Plasma TV and DVD player above the fireplace and a collection of classic and modern DVDs, a rustic stone wood burning fireplace, a built-in bookcase with a selection of books, and a dining area. French doors lead to the outside deck with a built in barbeque island, and stunning views overlooking the western horizon, great for gatherings and viewing the spectacular sunsets.

There are four large, roomy bedrooms. The master bedroom is over 300 square feet and includes a king size bed, a beautiful wood burning raised fireplace, French doors leading to the outside deck and more views of the horizon, and a TV and DVD player. The custom built master bathroom includes luxuries such as a spa tub, a large separate Travertine shower with a frameless glass enclosure, and Travertine floors and tile. The second bedroom includes a queen size bed, with access to deck and views. The third bedroom includes two twin beds with mountain views. The shared bathroom is Country French with a claw foot tub and marble floors. The fourth bedroom is a large private studio upstairs above the den and is 500 square feet with a separate full bathroom. The studio includes two double beds, couch, chair and dinette, and a small kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave and sink.

The living room, master bedroom and second bedroom open onto the expansive deck. The deck includes a built in barbeque island, and below the deck is a large circular flagstone patio with a fire pit in the center, great for gatherings and star gazing (please note that fire restrictions may apply during dry seasons).

During the summer months the temperature is usually moderate, however the home includes central air conditioning if needed, and is also equipped with central heating for cold winter days.

Our hidden gem is situated on 6 acres in the Northern Arizona High Country near Williams, AZ, off of highway 64 (the road to the Grand Canyon). When you turn off highway 64, you enter onto a country gravel road and for the next 1.5 mile drive to our home, you might see elk, deer, free range horses, javalina, coyotes, jack rabbits, and other wildlife that remind you that you're in the beautiful Arizona high country and are surrounded by nature.

When you approach our home on the hill, you will be able to see for miles across the westward horizon. Then step inside the home to over 2,600 square feet of rustic luxury.

Our home is centrally located to the Grand Canyon, Flagstaff, and Williams. Williams is located about 20 minutes away on the famous route 66 and has a variety of diners, restaurants and shops. Williams is also the home of Bearizona, the Deer Farm, and the Grand Canyon railway station

The Grand Canyon Railway offers the classic steam train to the south rim of the Grand Canyon, the Pumpkin Patch train in October, and Polar Express in the winter. The south rim of the Grand Canyon is only 40 miles north on highway 64. Flagstaff, home of Northern Arizona University, is 25 miles East. Also nearby is Sedona with red rock scenery and hiking trails. And the Snow Bowl ski resort is nearby for winter snow skiing.

If you want to venture further, you can visit the old mining town of Jerome, or the historical town of Prescott. Or, if you would prefer to stay close to home, you can fish and canoe on Kaibob Lake just 15 minutes from the property, hike in the surrounding area, and view sunsets and star-filled nights off the expansive deck.
