About this property

Idyllic family home in the desirable neighbourhood of Uplands (Oak Bay)

Welcome to our family home in a wonderful summer location. Victoria’s premier neighbourhood – the Uplands, just steps to Willow’s Beach, Uplands Park, Cattle Point, renowned golf, and amazing cafes and restaurants of Estevan Village. This completely furnished 4000 square foot (including a large rec room in the basement) rental house during the summer sits on an 12000 sq ft lot. This 3-level home is perfect for the modern family, or for those that love to entertain. The upper floor is a large master suite (a queen bed large sitting area and flat screen tv) with an ensuite (two sinks, Jacuzzi tub, shower and toilet) and breathtaking views of the mountains. The main floor also has a master bedroom (1 queen bed and a twin bed) with an ensuite (sink, tub/shower and toilet). There is also a second bedroom (one queen bed) on the main floor which has a 2-pce ensuite. There are two single beds in the basement also. The kitchen and eating area are huge and there is a very large formal dining room. The rest of the main floor has a large living room with a music area, a powder room (an additional toilet & sink) and a laundry room. There is a newly renovated front patio with a barbeque, tables and seating for up to 10. A few notable features include air conditioning, piano and drum kit, sprinkler system, pool table, 2 large flat screen TVs, and Wi-Fi. The rec room in the basement is perfect for families as it provides entertainment both night and day. The spacious room includes a pool table, foosball table and numerous sports equipment and a couch to lounge on while watching your favourite movie on the 60-inch flat screen TV. This house is adjacent to a park with a play set, swings, picnic table, and is a superb family location. It is a 10-minute walk to Willows beach and is a great community to run in. This is the epitome of Oak Bay living. There are no pets and no smoking allowed. We hope you come enjoy our family home.

Large well equipped home in a great location
Our multi generational family thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this large family home which is very close to both downtown Victoria and the seashore stretching from Willows Beach - which was great for the grandchildren to play in the sand - down to the tidal pools that they explored each time the tide was out.

Great Victoria location
This property was perfect for our annual boys bike trip. The location was excellent in a beautiful part of the region. The host was great to deal with and the home had lots of room and was very comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

Great situation for families
Clean rooms and bathrooms. Well located in a great neighbourhood, and especially for kids. Right beside a playground, lots of activities, books and toys for kids and adults too. The kitchen has everything you would need, but is unorganized, jam packed, making it difficult to find things. Overall, a great stay, and I would stay there again with my family.

What makes this property unique

It is an amazing family home in a phenomenal location. Please note: There is an occupied basement suite that is accessible (with its own entry) from around the back of the home. It is a completely self-contained living space and does not have access to the main home. The basement suite has its own laundry room. A senior lives in the suite and is a good friend of mine. She is an early childhood educator that works at UVic and is a wonderful person. She will often be out of the house working, but you may see her on the little patio around the back of the house.
