Lovely apartment in Otranto
Bright, spacious apartment close to secluded beaches and town center. Rooftop patio, groceries right across the street, great for three or four couples, excellent location for exploring the Otranto and area.

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal mit sieben Personen und Hund in Rita‘s wunderschönen Wohnung und haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und erholt. Mit großzügiger Raumaufteilung und moderner Einrichtung fühlt man sich wie zu Hause. Abends hatten wir unsere Aperitivi auf der Dachterrasse genossen. In die Altstadt von Otranto geht man 10 Minuten, zum Privatstrand La Castellana 5 Minuten und der Supermarkt Conad ist 1 Minute entfernt. In Otranto ist Rita‘s Wohnung unsere erste Wahl. A presto!

A Lovely and Spacious Property
Rita's home is in a great location - 5 minute walk to the beach, 10 minutes walk into the old town, in a quiet residential street with a handy grocery store across the road. There was ample free, on-the-street car parking as well. The house was amazingly spacious, ideal for our three generation family of 7. The access to decks on all three levels allowed any breeze to circulate through the house. It was well maintained and clean, and exactly as the photos show on the website. We really appreciated the fantastic supply of food left for us by Rita - a huge bowl of fresh fruit, bottles of wine, cereals, yoghurt and biscuits. Rita was easy to deal with, both before we arrived and during our stay. She meet us at the house and showed us around, familiarising us with everything and offering suggestions. We had a couple of issues with the air con in one of the bedrooms and the fridge but Rita responded promptly to resolve these and was very apologetic about it all. The house in Otranto was an ideal place to base ourselves - from there we did many day trips up and down the coast and to Lecce. The only recommendation I would make is perhaps a information folder with how to use the various appliances and suggestions on restaurants, things to see etc. All in all, I would thoroughly recommend this house as a great place to stay in Otranto and Puglia.

una bella atmosfera
Mio marito mio figlio ed io, abbiamo trascorso una decina di giorni in questa casa deliziosa. Il soggiorno è stato davvero gradevole, gli ambienti comodi, con aria condizionata, tenuti molto puliti. La casa dista 5 minuti a piedi dal mare, di fronte c'è un comodissimo supermercato e molto vicino anche una edicola e qualche bar. Ci è piaciuta molto l'atmosfera quasi monacale dello spazio, seppur completa di tutto il necessario. Ritorneremo senz'altro Maria Rosaria

Beautiful, elegant, modern architecture and lovely hosts!
My daughter and I just returned from spending two weeks at the home of Rita Capasa. We loved this place so much we actually extended our stay from one week to two! Rita's home is beautiful, spacious and comfortable. We were greeted by charming Maritza who helped us with anything we needed throughout our stay. Everything was very clean and efficient. Multiple bathrooms, 4 bedrooms, elegant multi-level floor plan, and many decks including one on the upper terrace. We were thrilled to have air conditioning in our bedrooms when we needed it as this region can be very warm. The linens and towels were of excellent quality. The kitchen had exactly what we needed and there was fresh coffee, tea and fruit when we arrived. A full grocery store across the street was extremely convenient. The Beach Club Rita referred us to was 5 minutes away and was pure heaven! Gorgeous waters of the Adriatic Sea, attentive life guards, an amazing welcoming family run operation complete with a restaurant/bar that served superb Salentino food and wine. We could barely tear ourselves away to do anything! We did spend some time in the old section of Otranto with its amazing port and beaches. The castello and cathedral were spectacular. We visited other small towns around the coast and were charmed as well. However, we left our hearts in Otranto and at the beach club and hope to return again and again! This property and its location receive my highest recommendation. Psst...it does help to have a rudimentary understanding of Italian anywhere in Puglia since English is not spoken as much as in some other parts of Italy but that is part of it's charm! Buon viaggio!
