Lake Lovers Overlook (412437) has one of the best views in Hiawassee from the interior of this home. View of the mountains of the United States National Forest. You can see Lake Chatuge, mountains of Brasstown Bald (tallest point in Georgia) and sunsets every night! Enjoy the view from inside the home during any season, or relax on the wrap around covered deck with lounge chairs, rocking chairs and a cool breeze from the outdoor ceiling fans.
Enjoy a HOT TUB in the winter or cool the temperature down for a refreshing summer soak while taking in the beautiful lake and mountain views.
The kingsize bedroom is on the main with a private full bath with a separate tub and shower, walk in closet and TV.
The second bedroom on the main level has a queen size bed and a TV. A second full guest bath separates the master and the second bedroom. Under the cabinet "night lights" are in both bathrooms.
The kitchen on the main level is fully furnished with wormy maple cabinets and solid surface, quartz countertops. A dining table is off the kitchen next to a laundry closet with a washer and dryer also on the main level.
A wood burning fireplace with large sofa, two lazy boy recliners and oversized chair in the vaulted great room on main, with a 50" flat screen TV, and dvd player. Access the wrap around deck from either one of two french doors where you will find two Adirondack chairs, four rocking chairs, two chaise loungers, table and 4 chairs.
Downstairs has a third queen size second master bedroom with attached full bath and enter from either the bedroom or the second living area. Bathroom has double sinks.
The living area has two twin beds and a trundle bed setup. A TV is in the 2nd living area with a game table to play cards or board games and video library. A foosball table is in the living area.
You can access the yard from downstairs where you will find a fire pit and view of the mountains! The home has WiFi.
The best thing is this home is just a short drive, 1/2 mile to HWY 76, in the middle of Hiawassee. Ingles Grocery with a Starbucks is about a mile away. The Georgia Mountain Fair ground is only a short 10 minutes down highway 76.

Wonderful girls trip!
This home was absolutely perfect for our annual hirls trip. Just a short drive to the brewery and the view was amazing! The home was very clean and had everything we needed. Karen was a great host and answered ajy question that I had. Definitely book the trip if you want an amazing view while drinking your coffee!

Hot dogs and a view!
This was a wonderful cabin. A rare one that has BOTH pool and foozball in a basement that leads right out to the fire pit. The view of lake chatuge is excellent. You drink it in while cooking hotdogs over the fire. The hot tub was perfect and also benefits from the spectacular view. The house is comfortable and clean. Two master suites make it perfect for extended family trips. Just a hop skip and jump from downtown Hiawassee. Ingles is easy and readily available- no need to “pack out” everything you want just toodle down and grab it. Getting the key code was a tiny bit unnerving- they give you a set time frame to text to get the code. The owner was on the road and missed my text. I called and she got back to me FAST and gave me the code. No need for me to have been nervous. They are super hosts. Even sent me a note to see if we wanted to extend a night which was really thoughtful. Overall grade an experience.

Great view and the home was nice, as described in the listing. We had a very nice stay with no problems. The driveway up to the home is very steep, so be prepared if you travel during wet or icy conditions.

Beautiful Cabin!!!
We LOVED this cabin! My husband and I come up to North Georgia every winter for a nice change from the Florida heat. Yes, even in the winter it is warm. We have been staying in different cabins every year hoping it will be THE ONE that we will come back to. I think this will be it! Everything about it was great! Even our two Yorkies, Shelby & Rikki felt at home. Where do I start . . . cleanliness is an important one & this cabin was the cleanest we've stayed in. Cudos to the housekeepers! We only slept in one bed but it was so comfortable we didn't want to get out of it in the morning! The cabin is beautiful and very comfortable, with a great game room and hot tub. We used it all. The kitchen is well stocked with dishware and a nice set of pots and pans. The only thing missing that we use a lot at home is a crockpot & a good size strainer (colander). Other than that just bring your food and spices and you're all set! Location! Perfect! Although you feel secluded you could walk to town if you wanted to. It's less than a mile to the grocery store, Walgreens and the downtown area with all the shops. Not to mention a beautiful drive to Franklin, NC with more shopping. And it's convenient to Helen, Young Harris, Blairsville and Blue Ridge. It is central to all. The short drive up the mountain is not bad at all and paved, with to parking area in front of the cabin paved as well. Just rent the cabin. you won't regret it!! Oh! And Karen was just a phone call away if we needed her.

We are at Brasstown Bald, the tallest point in Georgia. You can take a shuttle most of the way or take a nice walk. You can see the monument from the balcony of our rental home, looks like a hay silo to the left. The view from the home is a beautiful breathtaking view with at least a 40 mountain peak view of national forest along with a peaceful view of Lake Chatuge and a western sunset exposure. The view can even be enjoyed from the living area in the winter.

Hiawassee is one of the most beautiful and peaceful towns in North Georgia. Small enough to make you feel away from all the hustle and chaos of a larger city but large enough to enjoy shopping and dinning in a small town. See how beautiful Lake Chatuge and the mountains of North Georgia can be. Just one mile from the middke of Hiawassee, this home is at the at a dead end private road. You may even hear the creek that is on one side of the property. You will feel like you are all alone with nature.

Just off hwy 76 up Shakrag Rd. Take a left at the Buckridge Sign and go up the paved road and enjoy Bell Mountain!
