Custom luxury home nestled in a National Park-like setting. Perched next to the Big Laurel River trout stream, the home has views of the stream from most all of the many windows. Listen to the stream rushing by. Mostly private setting near the end of the road; you can see one other home but its down a ways. Gated community that is like having a park almost to yourself, there are only 16 homes within about 300 acres. A short hike up the mountain provides awe-inspiring mountain views. Seven miles to the quaint village of Hot Springs and the infamous natural mineral springs for soaking in, along Spring Creek and the French Broad River for rafting and kayaking. The Appalachian Trail goes through Hot Springs and the ridgeline of the AT can be viewed within the community. Come and visit the Blue Ridge Mountains at their finest; turkey, bear, bobcat, deer, raccoon, hawks, eagles, and owls share the neighborhood. The area is famous for its hiking, fishing and water sports. Relax, enjoy nature, breathe the fresh air, sit by the mtn. stream, hike through the National Forest, fish the stream, raft the French Broad River, and rejuvenate in the Hot Springs at the Hot Springs Spa.

Keywords: Luxury Cabin on the Big Laurel trout stream, private, peaceful, gated community; near Hot Springs, the Appalachian Trail, NC Scenic Roads, Rafting, Kayaking, Pisgah National Forest, and only natural hot springs mineral spa in NC.

Beautiful Cabin
My dog my dad 76 and I 31 wanted a nice get away to the mountains. We live 10min from the ocean in Maryland so mountains just amaze us. This place was perfect. We enjoyed listening to the river, we visited many waterfalls , Asheville, went to Gatlingburg and explored all around the surroundings area. Thank you for allowing my dad and I to spend some quality time together.

Magical place
This house is super comfortable and makes you feel at home. Not mentioning the chanting creek in front of it, the privacy and the fire pit. We all loved the place and Deb was always there to ready to help if necessary and answer all my questions about the area. Not to miss!

Peaceful family vacation
Cabin was beautiful and clean! We spent every morning drinking coffee on the porch overlooking the stream. Stream is across the street, but feels very private. Many little touches that make the cabin special. Great trip!

We are the owners. We feel in love with this area in 2004 and have come back ever since. It is very peaceful and a paradise for outdoor lovers. Sit and read listening to the rushing river in front of the Cabin by the fire pit, take a hike on one of the many nearby trials or simply walk in the neighborhood to the top of the mountain on a paved road, go fishing, go soak in the hot tubs in Hot Springs, take a day trip to Asheville, or simply relax.

Why they chose this property

It is gorgeous here, it just doesn't get any better! Sitting by the fire pit listening to and watching the rushing river in front of the Cabin is so relaxing. Eagles soar overhead, deer and turtles run across the river, and you can wade in the river to cool off on a hot day or soak your tired feet after a day's hike.

What makes this property unique

The stream, the stream, the stream. Or take a walk for some of the most beautiful mountains you have ever seen.
