6 Bedroom Waterfront Log Home with EV charging!

Lake 'n Logs Description
This large log home has six bedrooms, 4 & 1/2 baths and can sleep up to 14 people. There is a short (150 steps) to a shared dock where you can tie up your boat on our quiet cove. Grill out on our large deck, and enjoy the fire-pit for evening sing-a-longs. The dock is shared with Cabin on the Cove, just walk over and get to know the other guests and coordinate the use.

Plenty of parking for trailers or toy haulers on our two acre property. If you need more room, the house next door is Cabin on the Cove. We also own it. (VacationRentals #7006901). Rent them both for a great family reunion. We do not know of any similar adjacent two properties on Kentucky Lake. Rent them both and have a family reunion. Up to 25 people total, ten bedrooms and 8 & 1/2 baths! Moors Resort is just 1.5 miles away where you can rent jet skis, ski boats, pontoons, and fishing boats.
Our lower parking area has a nema 14-50 outlet, with a 50 amp capacity. You can easily charge your Tesla or other electric vehicle.

Jane and I stay on this property for all of August, so we keep it clean and well maintained. We are on site for 5 months of the year, so any questions you may have we are usually available.

Unfortunately the tornado hit the cabin we were staying in and destroyed it. All of the family was safe without any major injuries. We only stayed one evening.

Kentucky Lake Cabin
The rental process and interaction with the owner was very easy. You can tell the owner really cares about the property and wants you to enjoy your stay. The cabin is a large 5 bedroom. There is a short walk to the dock. A well stocked convenience store is only a mile down the road. Would definitely stay here again.

Very Nice!
This was a very clean and well taken care of cabin on Kentucky Lake. We had a private dock to keep our rented pontoon. Tim was very nice and easy to get ahold of. We loved every minute of our stay.

Great log cabin!
This was a great property and beautiful log cabin. It was very clean and we enjoyed all the cool facts on the items around the home. For example, the story behind the coffee table or the stories in the aviation room. It had plenty of room for our family. We had brought plastic bowls, plates and utensils but didn’t use bc the kitchen was fully stocked. Kentucky lake was such a cool area to be around and plenty to do within 20 minutes of the home including hiking, marinas, parks, markets, mini golf, go carts, small zoo. Highly recommend for your family vacation!

I was a US Navy pilot, and retired in San Diego in 1991. Jane and I started a business in our garage printing t-shirts, and now, over thirty years later, our son is running it. We looked for a place to buy for a vacation home, and having grown up in Southern Indiana, I had spent some time at Kentucky Lake as a teenager, and remember loving it. We still have family in the area, so we bought a lot and with the help of my parents, we built Lake 'n Logs.

Why they chose this property

Our neighborhood is located just 1.5 miles from Moors Resort, one of the largest marinas on Kentucky Lake. Our cove is very calm and unlike other main lake properties, you don't have to worry about rough waves tearing up your boat. You can swim safely in our cove, and kayak in the calm waters.

What makes this property unique

We have one of the largest homes on the lake for rent. Along with our other property, Cabin on the Cove (VRBO # ), you have an unique opportunity to rent two home adjacent to each other on 2 acres of land for large family gatherings. Both homes are brand new, being rebuilt after the Dec 2021 tornado. We also have an EV Charging station on this property.
