We are just 90 minutes from Atlanta in a place of exceptional natural beauty offering peace & quiet plus championship trout fishing. This cabin is just 10 miles from Blue Ridge, GA, which is an upscale mountain town offering fine dining, shopping, antiquing, festival's and a vibrant art scene. Surrounded by mountains, lakes & streams there's plenty of opportunities for rafting, tubing, kayaking, fishing, hiking and horseback riding. Very accessible from both Atlanta & Chattanooga. Wildlife is abundant such as deer, raccoons, hawks and eagles. The master bedroom/bath is on the main level for easy access with a brand new king size bed. The loft has 2 queen size beds, shower, with futon on the top deck. There are easy steps down to the creek for fishing and wading. White water raft the famous Ocoee River, Tube down Fightingtown Creek, or canoe the Toccoa River, they are all so close! The Ocoee Whitewater Center, site of the 1996 Olympics Whitewater Competition, is just 25 minutes away. We are nestled back in a quiet peaceful small gated community close to shopping, grocery stores, hospital, etc.

Exactly as pictured
Everything was great!! Exactly as pictured. We enjoyed fishing all day and then going to the Riverwalk in McCaysville right down the street to eat. We also enjoyed making smores by the fire. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful restful place on the river
We had a really nice spring break at this rental property. It was quiet and beautiful place. The space was perfect for my husband and I and our teenage girls. The directions given lead us right to the location. The house was clean and private and right on the river. Hot tub was a great add. Communication from the owner was great and they called to check on us and make sure everything was in order. Would definitely come back again in the future.

We Needed This!
When you arrive at this cabin, you feel like you have slipped away to something you’ve only dreamed about. The cabin is beautiful, and the setting is from a painting. Listening to the rushing creek from the back porch is so relaxing, and catching beautiful Trout just steps from the cabin is exciting. The owners checked in with us and offered suggestions on places to visit. The hot tub was a great place to wrap up our evenings and although we didn’t use the fire pit, it would be a gorgeous place to warm up along the bank of the creek. When we return to visit the North Georgia Mountains, I know where we will stay.

Amazing Stay
This was one of my favorite places to stay. We will be coming back 100% It was such a relaxing place to be in that beautiful backyard. The fishing was a blast.

We enjoy the quiet here but also the many outdoor activities available in this area. Our favorite activities are fishing, tubing, rafting, exploring & sitting on the deck looking at the sparkling river. Even in the winter, we love sitting on the upper deck rocking chairs or the sofa downstairs, drinking hot Irish Coffee and watching the river flow by on a Saturday morning after a hard week of work in the city. What therapy! I always enjoy driving up here from the south and seeing the first set of Blue Ridge Mountains on the skyline, just makes you take that long awaited exhale -- like you're finally at home again. Guess I'm a mountain man after all. Ya'll come on over here and enjoy!

Why they chose this property

This area has all of the outdoor activities we could ever ask for plus exceptional outdoor beauty, it also makes a very romantic get away. There's nothing that compares to watching a Blue Herring at the bank of Fighting Town creek hunting trout. They get really big up here, wing span of 6'. The stars above on a clear night will AMAZE you! It is very convenient to the town of Blue Ridge, McCaysville, Atlanta, Chattanooga & Knoxville. In the heat of summer it is so nice to wade into what we call our natural whirlpool (middle of the creek there is a 4.5' bowl of water) deep enough to sit on the boulders there and keep your head above water. I've almost fallen asleep there it's so relaxing. We had a renter that said that's about all they did when they were here last June. They call places like this 'God's Country', I can understand why. You really connect with nature up here. I couldn't live without our cabin now that my family has experienced it. We want to share it with everybody! I could go on and on -- the scent of the white pinewood when you open the cabin door, the hummingbirds that buzz by in the mornings, the distant howl of a coyote and her pups. Just Awesome. We love to hike the Blue Ridge Mountains, go riding the 4-wheelers, fishing and tubing. I'll trade a beach get-away for this 3 to 1.
