The Kessler Cottage is beautifully secluded in one acre of land with mature trees and a sandy long driveway leading up to it for your relaxing walks among the pines. This 3 bedroom 2 bath cottage has a split floor plan with two living rooms and is a 15 minute walk to the beautiful sandy beaches of Lake Michigan, walking distance to St.Julien Winery/Round Barn Brewery, short drive to Galean river kayaking, and all the adventures that southwest Michigan has to offer.
To make sure all our guests have a safe and relaxing stay, we take extra care in our cleaning and maintenance for our guests.
Outdoor space has tons of privacy with a lounging deck in the back and dining patio with seating up to 7.
This spacious cottage has 2 large living rooms with tv's, movies, games, etc. The spacious kitchen and dining room has all the extras to entertain, including all appliances, dishwasher, dishes, utensils, etc. Also, an outdoor grill with charcoal and lighter fluid for all your grilling needs.
Complimentary coffee and tea with your stay.
Come get away from it all and take walks or bike to the great restaurants and beaches of Union Pier!
We also supply our guests with beach towels and beach chairs.

Quick get away
The cottage was all that was expected tucked away frm the city life and noise. It was clean and cozy and the hostess was precise and pleasant. Perfect for the next time a getaway is needed. :)

Great Getaway
Perfect sized house for our quick fall getaway weekend. Our group consisted of two couples, no kids. We liked that the two bedrooms were on opposite ends of the cottage. We each had our own bathroom and living room. Beata was a gracious host and answered our only question very quickly (although later I realized she’d already given the information we needed in the check in instructions-reading is fundamental haha). Only suggestion for important it would just be better pillows and maybe a mattress upgrade to the second bedroom. It was a little hard on our backs, maybe intended for a teenager instead of our old 40-something bones. We would still stay there again and just bring our own pillows. The house was very clean and everything worked like it should. We were really glad there were games to play (we are now Skip-Bo masters), because we forgot to bring our own. We didn’t get a chance to use the fire pit unfortunately, but next time we will. The two restaurants nearby (Red Arrow Roadhouse and Whistle Stop) were fantastic. We went to Red Arrow both nights for dinner because the food was THAT good! Maybe next time we’ll try Union Social House. All in all this was the relaxing break we needed from it busy lives. Thanks Beata!

Very nice stay
We had a very relaxing stay. The Hosts thought of so many niceties. It is set up well for going to the beach with folding chairs & towels. It's a nice, quiet area. Very wooded. We saw deer multiple times. It's a short drive to numerous places. We thank the Hosts for their thoughtfulness.
