Located with-in walking distance of the restaurants and shops in Old Town Scottsdale. Fully stocked kitchen (dishes, tableware, small appliances, etc.). Washer and dryer are located in the condo for easy access. Wi-fi included. 55" UHD TV in the living room. Community has a heated pool and hot tub with plenty of lounge chairs. This is a gated community with one designated, covered parking spot. Additional parking is available for guest, as well. The Trolley stops right outside the property about every 20 minutes and you can ride it to various areas of Scottsdale for free. Walking distance to: The Giants Spring Training Stadium, Old Town Scottsdale, Civic Center, Scottsdale Fashion Square Mall, and Many other attractions.

About Paul

My wife and I have always loved serving others. We live a short drive away and are available for anything you need. We manage several other properties and love the opportunity to create these cozy vacation spaces that you don't want to leave. We've been married for over 15 years and love spending time with our families.

Why Paul chose Casa Requena II

We managed this property for another owner and always dreamed of adding these features to the home. When the opportunity came up to purchase this property, we couldn't wait to turn it into this vision of the place we would want to rent. We fashioned it after one of our favorite places to visit in Denver. There are little symbols throughout the home that represent us and those who have inspired and raised us over the years.

What makes this condo unique

We loved the quiet, comfortable, secure feeling that we get when we are here. We love the tall trees on the property that house the birds that love to sing (sometimes loudly) when the weather is good and the sun is setting. Which, of course, you can watch and listen to from the balcony. You meet other travelers and residents with their own stories as you relax by the pool.

Nice Accomadations, Great Location

I could certainly repeat all the positive comments from previous reviews. The location is central to all the activities in the area. The gated development is nice with a beautiful pool and central area. We were very comfortable with the premium bedding and furniture. Nice televisions in the living room and master bedroom. All the windows make it bright and cheerful. The only negative is that the air conditioner is somewhat noisy but that actually helped us to sleep at night. Paul is very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with. We would return again.

Just as expected

Our stay was great! The condo is exactly as it appears in photos. A couple of recommendations though, the microwave is very poorly placed above the fridge and should be moved because using it pops the power strip. We really enjoyed the pool but were not sure about it beforehand because there wasn't photos of it. I'd add several because the pool was lovely.

We went hiking and left a pamphlet of the place for future travelers to be able to find the cool spot we did. Location was also close to ASU, for anyone traveling to visit their college student.

The AC is indeed loud but that is something that I think the complex needs to address. The unit below us and on the sides of us had loud AC too. Makes it hard to talk or watch TV when it's on.

Paul was very responsive and available for questions as needed.

Enjoyed our stay here. Wonderful location, convienent to walk to OldTown and restaurants. Paul is responsive to requests. Nice to have paper products and cleaning supplies available. Looking forward to returning next year.

Comfortable and cozy

thanks to Paul, arriving and moving in went smoothly. Enjoyed the space, good wi-fi, kitchen is well outfitted, thoughtful to have the basics there such as toliet paper, paper towels, and garbage bags. Lots of books to pick from to read so no trips were needed to the library to start. Enjoyed morning walks either on the greenway or over to Old Town. Looking forward to returning to the property.

Excellent time in Old Town.

We were met by the property manager Paul. He is very courteous. Location is easy to find and very close to Old Town. We could walk to restaurants & shops. The area was quiet and we didn't even know there were neighbors. The kitchen is fully equipped with very nice dishes/glasses, pots & pans. Even though we are on vacation, I like to cook breakfast and an occasional dinner. The kitchen also had a selection of herbs/spices for our use. The previous tenants left an unopened bottle of wine that Paul was happy to pass onto us. Thanks Paul! The apt was very clean and comfortable. The wifi was fast and there is a laptop to use if you don't like to bring your own. There is also a washer/dryer with detergent!! Yeah! We stayed almost 10 days so not having to find a laundromat was a definite plus! My husband and I decided that this will be our first choice of places to stay when in Phoenix.

We prefer not to write a review in hopes the Owners would take our private comments into consideration, but Homeaway's policy requires we follow protocol because we are respectfully requesting a refund on the Property # 4030920, for April 12-April 18. We hope the Owners understand our concerns and realize this property has much potential in being a very nice experience for ALL Renters if the following issues are updated and corrected. We met Paul at the Apartment, to discuss our stay. After, Gayle and I began to walk the apartment; we began to identify some issues but tried to overlook them and went shopping for groceries. Only as we returned and tried to settle in for the night, our stay became much more uncomfortable. During Wednesday, at 6:05 pm, we decided to call Paul and let him know about our dilemma. Our conversation was Cordial as I explained our issues and informed him we would be checking out the following morning, As requested by Paul, I left notes behind to assist in their improvements., He commented he would try to refund all monies with exception of first night stay, which I thanked him for his cooperation. Today is 2 weeks since our scheduled departure and I have not received any feedback. Reference Notes - 1. Unit Advertised as no smoking yet there was a distinct smell of cigarette smoke. There was also an extremely strong mildew or musty scent which began to irritate our nose and throat, the longer we stayed in the apartment, the worst we got. 2. The Central Air conditioning Unit air handler is extremely loud, although Paul later mentioned there were two bolts lose that was corrected, the loudness or strength of the blower prevented us from being able to speak comfortably at the dining table or watch TV. We had to turn it off completely to sleep, even with the bedroom doors closed. Garbage disposal did not work; the sliding door to the patio was dysfunctional. It took 3 people to shove it back into the locking mechanism; we decided the patio was off limits, afraid we would break something. 3. In the middle of the night, Gayle, who is 63, stayed in the MBR. She got up around 3:30am to go to the restroom. Having difficulty finding the light, she called for my assistance. To our shock, the resident below our apartment started Banging Violently on the ceiling below the bedroom, YIKES!!! WE'RE SORRY, WE TRIED TO STAY.. But just couldn't tolerate the fumes, the loud air conditioner and the angry resident below us.
