Lovingly renovated fabulous family get away located above the main part of the lake and offered for rental on a limited basis. Amazing views year-round from huge 2-level deck and stone patio w/fire pit. Spacious two-story dock with available slip/lift--sun and shade areas with power, refrigerator and swim raft for a day of relaxing and swimming in our 13'+ deep water. Luxury interior includes vaulted wood ceilings, fully-equipped granite kitchen, granite table for 10 plus bar counter seating, icemaker, 60' flat screen TV, satellite, wood burning fireplace, wireless internet, leather reclining couches, reclaimed wood flooring. Linens and trash removal provided. Separate game room features 50' flat screen TV, video games, leather sofas, ping pong table, air hockey and great views. Separate apartment over game room provides extra privacy or overflow space for family groups. Spectacular views from main living areas, master, game room and apartment.

This family vacation home has been renovated, furnished and equipped for our personal use and is available for other families to enjoy when we can't be there. We rented homes at Lake Anna for 5 years before deciding to buy one, and we quickly tired of 'cookie cutter' rental homes with bland, neutral finishes and cheap carpet and furniture. If you're looking for a comfortable, welcoming home environment from which to enjoy the lake, this is the property for you. (Note: we have amazing views because our house sits on a bluff overlooking the deepest section of the lake - the 2-story dock is 60 wide steps down from the main house/deck ).

Please note - we only rent by the week (Sat - Sat) during June - August. We have a 2 night minimum the rest of the year.

Beautiful lakefront retreat
We gathered together with our family for Thanksgiving week. The views are awesome..The fireplace was wonderful. They provided plenty of wood and it kept us so cozy. Great kitchen and layout. Dock was great for fishing and bird watching. We loved our time here!

Beautiful View-house needs repairs
First, I want to say that we had a great bonding weekend, and the view was absolutely part of it! Lake Ann is gorgeous! The house itself though seems to be lacking a good deep cleaning and we wondered if since we were there during off season this was the reason. Since we paid $860 per night for 4 nights it should have been cleaner for sure. As far as the setup of the house itself- there really isn't a true table for people to sit at, but luckily, we had a beautiful day for everyone to sit outside. The bedrooms are as follows- 2 bedrooms (both kings) w/bathrooms, hall bedroom #1 with queen bed, hall bedroom #2 with one bunk bed (twin top/queen bottom)-there is no third bed in that room as shown in the pictures online. There is a second building onsite (right next door) with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. There is a downstairs living area, but it smells of mold and mildew. This second building is also in need of deep cleaning as well as completed paint job. The second building also had rooms with no curtains. Other things that should be addressed are the following- • Grill has some sort of issue- a tank was already attached. When turned on there was a terrible gas smell and leak. We were unable to use the grill for this reason. Thankfully we had someone who was great with utilizing the open firepit! • Top deck-there are a few very loose spindles which if young children are there is very dangerous. • Lighting in the kitchen area is sparse to say the least- there are two battery operated lights over the sink which helped slightly, but the kitchen needs more lighting for sure. • Outdoor lighting in the front of the house is lacking. • The oven is absolutely one of the items on the deep cleaning list • Master bedroom bed has a slat that is no longer installed under the bed • Master bedroom bathroom right side sink leaks. Just another quick note or question really…. why are there so many knife blocks at this house? It became a funny joke all weekend that “we didn’t have enough knives”!

Overall good time
My fiends and I enjoyed our weekend stay here. Great location and house with beautiful views. Check in was simple and smooth. Lots of amenities and fun things to do nearby. Cleanliness was lacking - linens had crumbs, counter tops not clean, trash under all the beds. We spent our first three hours cleaning and washing sheets. Host was responsive to initial inquiry but said cleaners had already been out. Recommend a new cleaning service, otherwise a great time.

Summer Family Get Away
A good time had by all! Enjoyed the water from swimming, boating, to jet skiing. The house was a nice fit for our family and well stocked with the basics.
