Great family spot
Our family of 9 adults and a baby had a marvellous time. The living space is bright and spacious and there are many outdoor spaces to relax. The bedrooms worked well for our group with the exception of the Muskoka room. The futon didn't open out so it was less comfortable for our son. Overall, the space worked well although we had some challenges operating the BBQ. Jim was great to deal with and responded quickly to questions.

Great place to get away
First off - the pictures don't do the place justice. The cottage is spacious and bright and has everything you need.. The outdoor space was great and had lots of play areas for my young boys. The owner was very responsive and attentive and made the stay very enjoyable and stress free! A great place to stay with family.

Summer Oasis
The pictures of this place don’t do justice! The house was much bigger then we had anticipated and the hosts were amazing right from the beginning. Jim was able to answer all of our questions quickly and was always available anytime we needed something. When we checked in the house was very clean and very well organized. We were here for a business retreat and the team was able To make themselves at home. The home has pretty much everything you could want for an amazing weekend and world class golf courses are right close by. I would highly recommend this cottage to any families looking for time away from the big city or any executives looking to unwind with colleagues. This place is top notch, 5 stars all around!

Great place by the Lake
We really enjoyed our stay. The place was clean, facilities were great and the view was fantastic. I would definitely recommend this as a vacation getaway and we want to return again next year.

DISAPPOINTING STAY
This place looked great through the photos, but we did not get what we paid for. Here are main complaints: 1. It was not clean. You could tell within the first hour but before I go into those details I have to discuss the MOUSE DROPPINGS!!! When I was looking for a toy that dropped under the L shaped couch, there were mouse/rodent droppings under the couch bunched in the rug. DISGUSTING!! I also found some in drawers and had to vacuum them off the rug under the coffee table to stop the kids from walking in it. This a huge house which would take a good day to clean. Floors were still dirty, towels weren't very clean, cobwebs in bedrooms, yellow stains on mattresses and pillows, beer can tops and bottles were around, cigarette butts and litter outside. It looked as if it was given a tidy, not what the significant house cleaning pays for. 2. The downstairs needs work. One bedroom that was meant for kids was missing a curtain leading to early morning - those of you who have kids know that is not what you want on your vacation. The other bedroom smells like it is close to the septic tank. 3. Main entrance to lake was blocked by a non working boat! We couldn't even jump into the lake without jumping into the shallow/rocky part first and then had to swim around a boat that wasn't moved. There's more to but long/short is we left a day early and this is expensive for what you get.
