ADDED FEATURE! We offer an electric outdoor dry/steam cedar SAUNA for your year-round enjoyment. Imagine topping off a day of kite surfing, winter snowshoeing or cross country skiing with a hot, therapeutic and relaxing sauna!

Majestic evergreens frame your sweet corridor views of the Strait of Georgia and Gulf Islands beyond, here on BC’s Sunshine Coast. Our fully equipped and modern ‘pied-a-terre’ garden level suite is part of our well maintained home. A separate entrance allows guests the freedom and independence desirable in a holiday rental or business stay. Every attention to detail will ensure that your experience is both relaxing and memorable whether it’s for a long weekend, week or month. Extras include king-size bed, a TV in both living room and bedroom and walk-in closet large enough for your clothing and luggage. We are located on Gower Point, a short walk to the seashore or a few minutes drive to the many amenities and activities offered by the town of Gibsons. While there, buy fresh seafood off the dock to grill on your own barbecue, or sightsee and dine along the water’s edge. The Sunshine Coast offers numerous hiking trails, art galleries, summer markets, and everything else you could imagine in a quaint yet vibrant seaside community. Visit “Sweet Georgia Terrace” and drink in the tranquility, fresh air and sparkling water many people love and look forward to returning to on the Coast. Adults of all ages are welcome, but we regret that because our property is terraced, it is not suitable for children or pets. Please note that a flight of outdoors stairs lead you to the suite. Please bring a bathing suit and clean flip-flop type shoes if you plan to use the sauna. Access to winter sports may require a 4x4 and snow chains.

We are an approved accommodation for BC Ferries employees.

***Our guest’s health, safety and comfort come first. We do not charge a cleaning fee, but in order for us to adhere to our strict cleaning guidelines, we require guests to vacate the property with their possessions BEFORE 11am on their check-out date (unless other previous arrangements have been made). We ask that guests familiarize themselves with local health and safety rules and guidelines relating to vacation rentals prior to booking.

Relaxing, Private, Lovely!
This was our second visit to this lovely home and we stayed for seven nights. It is very clean, well appointed and has a well equipped kitchen. The bedroom area is quiet and comfortable. We enjoyed seeing the deer in the garden area - they even ventured onto our patio to munch away at some shrubs! Ted and Suzanne are just a text away to answer any questions but are by no means intrusive. We hope to go back someday and highly recommend this tranquil place. Thanks again Ted and Suzanne. Beautifully appointed, clean and modern. Quiet and private yet only a few minutes drive to town. A great location near the sea and the best Gibsons and the Sunshine Coast have to offer.

What makes this property unique

The Sunshine Coast is a unique destination in that one can only access it by air or boat, making it a sought after rural destination within easy striking distance to Vancouver. However, travellers should be aware that being strictly reliant on a ferry service for coming and going may result in delays, should the ferry be running behind schedule or experience overloads. We recommend travellers reserve with BC Ferries to minimize any inconvenience relating to your arrival or departure, especially during the high season.
