Stunning 2 home estate in the heart of the Texas Hill Country in Wimberley, TX. Located 35 miles from Downtown Austin, 10 minutes from Jacob’s Well, Blue Hole and is surrounded by local wineries, shops and restaurants. Wolf Creek Ranch is a very private 11 acre retreat perfect for families and small groups.

The log cabin Ranch House has a wrap around porch on all sides with chairs and porch swings. It has a large master suite with king bed and private bath, two queen bedrooms with a shared bathroom with a walk in stone shower, and a sleeping sofa for one adult or two small children. There is a well-equipped kitchen with granite counter tops, stainless steel appliances and a massive hardwood table that seats 16.

The Lodge has two oversized King suites each with their own private baths with walk in stone showers and deep, copper soaking tubs. The great room has comfortable seating, a towering stone fireplace, copper table for 6 and a party bar. The Lodge is a stunning show home made of massive hand-hewn timbers from an 1820’s barn in Gettysburg, PA.

Both homes are impeccably decorated by the homeowner, HGTV designer, Bex Hale. The homes boast an eclectic mix of rustic and modern furnishings; think Restoration Hardware meets the Wild West. Rooms are filled with interesting artifacts like the ten foot wide, 200 year old church doors from Guadalajara that make up the headboard in one of the master suites. Windows and doors were salvaged from a mid 1800’s home on the Jersey Shore, and the ceilings are adorned with reclaimed wood and antique pressed tin molding. Relics Ranch was the star of last year’s annual home tour and is an impressive example of Hill Country finery.

The homes, about 30 yards apart, are connected by a poolside party cabana and outdoor kitchen with tables and chairs, BBQ grill, fridge, ice maker and a bar. The hot tub and adjacent pool look over a stone fountain and with views of the garden. The stone patio has a wood-burning fireplace with ample seating. There is a spacious yard with lush grass shaded by large oak trees that play host to hammocks and swings. The entire yard is enclosed in a stacked stone fence. There are dozens of indoor and outdoor games for kiddos and adults alike. Also provided: a pack n' play, crib, portable toddler sleep sack, and travel high chair.

The ranch is home to friendly pets: Rufus, the horse and mini donkeys, June Carter and Loretta Lynn graze freely outside the stone walls and are especially popular with kids. Birdie, the ranch kitty, is quiet, friendly and roams in and out of the ranch house keeping it free of unwanted critters. Relics Ranch is the perfect place to enjoy all the Texas Hill Country has to offer.

Relics Ranch is located 35 miles from downtown Austin and only 10 minutes from Blue Hole, Jacob's Well, and downtown Wimberley. An ideal location for wine tours as it is only half a mile from the Wimberley Valley Winery and less than 10 minutes from 4 others. The ranch is also just 20 minutes from the world class San Marcos Outlet Malls. This estate is a great option for wedding parties and wedding guests. Old Glory Ranch, Memory Lane Event Center, Montesino Ranch, and Camp Lucy are just a few and all are less than 15 minutes away.
