The Wren's Nest is a beautiful retreat in a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. The Chalet is brand new and definitely shows the attention to detail throughout from unique twig work, plush white towels, Egyptian cotton sheets. We have created a very cozy atmosphere in our cabin and we're sure you will feel right at home. You can spend sunny days walking in the neighborhood, or read a book on the front porch swing. There are books of all sorts, movies to watch and board games to play! Or you can travel to Hiawassee for antique shopping, or shop at the wide variety of local shops. Hiawassee is only 31/2 miles from your front door. So please come have a visit, we would love for you to be our guest.

Peaceful, comfortable, adorable
We spent a quick two nights in this charming home! Although we didn't utilize the kitchen ware, the rest of the living arrangements are wonderful!! We would stay here again.
It was alright.
Never received instructions in the email or through the app with the unlock code or how to get in. Called the owner to request the needed information and she seemed to have a slightly rude tone and bothered that I was calling her. It could really use a deep cleaning and a mild sprucing up. Many spider webs inside between the windows and blinds. Most blinds missing turner piece to close the blinds. No garbage bags in some trash cans. Floors could use a good mopping and a polish. Chandeliers and light fixtures had many spiderwebs. Lack of extra toilet paper. Had to empty own trash and take all linens down to the wash --- shouldn't the cleaning services I am paying for taking care of that? (And the cobwebs) One toilet had a slow leak. Doors were hard to open on the back porch. All furniture on the front porch could use a cleaning. Upstair's bathroom did not have a shower, just a bathtub with a chandelier right over it so you will hit your head if you stand up in the tub. It did have a hose in case you decided to try and make it a shower, but you will end up hitting your head on the chandelier. Bathtub/shower that was located in the downstairs bedroom had an extremely high wall to crawl over to get inside. There were no bars to grab onto to balance yourself on.
Very nice cabin. Great location. Beautiful surroundings.
Two couples celebrating anniversaries. Great place to get away, relax, and a little shopping. It had everything we needed as we cooked in a few times. Loved the porches -front and back.
We loved this house as it was a PERFECT getaway with my parents and husband. The bedrooms are very spacious with beautiful bathrooms. We enjoyed the decks outside the home, and my husband especially enjoyed drinking a cup of coffee outside the upstairs bedroom. The setting is very peaceful, with easy access from the road. We were even able to utilize the kayaks that were available in the basement. There are 3 available and we enjoyed the inflatable double kayak made for 2. We took it out to the Lake Chatuge Recreation Area which was just down the road only about 3 miles away. There is a boat ramp access and it was perfect for launching the kayak. We would stay here again - hands down!! Thank you for such a quaint place - I just wish it was a longer stay - maybe next time.
We stayed here over 4th of July week. It was a beautiful cabin and very cozy. It has everything you could need.
Great weekend getaway
We really loved our stay. The home is beautiful and clean. Hiawassee is a beautiful area and quiet. We loved going out on Lake Chatuge. We plan to come back again in the fall.
