CASTAWAY COTTAGE in beautiful Crystal Beach, Destin, Florida.
Our charming beach cottage features 3 bedrooms, one King and two Queens plus a PRIVATE POOL (sorry Not Heated) and Pirate Buggy Golf Cart, beach chairs plus bicycles!

We purchased this charming single level cottage
located just 2 blocks from beautiful 'Crystal Beach, Destin Florida' as our future retirement home. We have had so much fun decorating and tried to make it as comfortable as if you were at home and hope you will enjoy it as much as we do. We furnished our home as if we were staying there, so you will find extras not usually furnished in a rental which saves you money! Plus being convenient.

The location of Castaway Cottage is perfect for your visit to the Destin area with easy access to the beach (with our Pirate Buggy (golf cart), beach bikes or easy stroll), shopping and restaurants. 'Crystal Beach Cottages in Destin Florida' are known for their charming picket fences and colorful 'beachy' exteriors. Enter through the arbor to stone pavers with lush palms. Relax on the front porch, listen to the waves and enjoy calming gulf breezes!

Castaway Cottage features a spacious living dining combination decorated to create a private tropical oasis. The living area has a sofa, love seat, bamboo easy chair with storage foot rest. The guys will love the 55 inch flat screen with Blu Ray player, Bose sound system plus premium Cable TV. Stay connected with WiFi. A Cozy fireplace will cut the chill from late night dips in your private pool. Our kitchen is fully furnished with all NEW stainless steel applicances and will impress the most descriminating chef!

Just off the living room is the Master Suite with King plush bedding, charming bay window seating and 32 inch TV with a built in DVD player. The master bedroom has it's own private shower with glass doors, large 'sit down' dressing vanity complete with hair dryer and lighted make up mirror.

From the kitchen enter into the 'gaming area' with it's own 32 inch flat screen, Blu Ray player plus ***X BOX ONE ****. The laundry room is just off the alcove and features a washer/dryer, iron and board plus pool towels complete with a Castaway 'Wilson' volleyball.

A hallway seperates two additional Queen bedrooms, each with their own 24inch cable TV's with built in DVD players. At the end of the hall is a full bath with tub/shower combination.

French doors lead to a spacious covered back porch with patio furniture for relaxing and enjoying the view of the landscaped yard and pool. A TEN FOOT privacy fence will ensure those late night skinning dipping swims in the 9 X 24 foot pool. Feel secure with our alarm system with 'door alarms' so you know who is coming / going to the pool area.

Prepare those freshly caught seafood delights on your gas grill. Dine under the stars from your private Castaway Cottage
backyard oasis.

We love to pamper our guest with plush robes, pool towels and other surprise treats. We have decorated and furnished our Destin Beach home as if we were living there and invite you to come experience true Southern Hospitality.

Lovely, relaxing vacation retreat
My husband, Mom, and small dog all stayed at Castaway for 3 week. We had a great time, and we plan on returning. The neighborhood is very quiet. The house is very clean and well stocked (towels, cleaning supplies, pots/pans/utensils). Patty even starts you off with paper towels, napkins, laundry detergent, and toilet paper, and the kitchen is stocked with salt, pepper, oils, and some spices. The master bedroom/bathroom has recently been remodeled, and it is lovely. We had comfortable beds and good water pressure (which is important for someone with long hair like me). We were greeted by a brand new, full size washer and dryer. The pool is fabulous, and we enjoyed swimming every day. You can walk to the beach from the cottage, but there is also golf cart parking right by Camille's restaurant. We enjoyed walking the beach every evening. The cottage is in the middle of everything - you can walk to Publix along with drugstores, restaurants, nail salons, etc. I saw another reviewer mention dust. The house was very clean when we arrived. There was a little dust here and there, but you should have seen the highly rated, brand name hotels we stayed at during our drive to and from Destin - dirty bathrooms, no housekeeping service, torn and stained towels. Hotels are not what they used to be before Covid, and Patty's cottage is fabulous, clean, and quiet retreat. We had such a good time we didn't want to leave. Thank you Patty!

Great place great location
Patty is a great and fast communicator, house was as advertised nice pool, golf cart and bikes are also a great bonus. Beach access is maybe 4 blocks total easy 5 min walk even with kids. The beach access that’s near the house has free parking for golf carts. Thanks for having us and letting us bring the dogs we had a great time.

We are so fortunate to live and work in one of the most beautiful places on earth, the Great Smoky Mountains of East Tennessee. We currently own several cabins in Pigeon Forge and have had years of experience with 'vacation rental property'. All our properties are furnished with the guest in mind and hope that our visitors here will also enjoy our Destin Beach Cottage. Our business Affordable Cabins in the Smokies keeps us quite busy, but we still love to ride our Harley in the national park and hike with our pets. Our two small dogs travel with us everywhere we go and we know true pet lovers will and have respected our properties.
Off time includes enjoying nature from our back porch and cooking on the grill.

We have vacationed in Destin for years with family and friends. We love the quaint 'village atmosphere, sandy white beaches, seafood and deep sea fishing.
We would always play 'Wilson' (volleyball) at the beach or pool.
We were quite blessed when the opportunity became available to purchase this cottage and hence the name, Castaway Cottage.

What makes this property unique

Two fenced in yards are perfect for pets, easy location to the beach, shopping and restaurants. Hop on the bikes or cruise Scenic 98 along the beach in our Pirate Buggy. Our guest love the extra amenities you won't find anywhere else!!!
