From the moment you arrive at this Shawnigan lakefront summer rental property, you enter a world of peaceful seclusion. With over 250 feet of private shoreline in a protected quiet bay, surrounded by lush natural vegetation and mature forested land, you can be assured of privacy while you enjoy this unique waterfront location. The home is conveniently situated just 35 feet from the water's edge with gently sloping pathways leading to the spacious dock and sandy beach area that's ideal for small children. This weed-free, deep water location is perfect for all water ports, including swimming and boating. For your security and convenience there is on-site parking.

The three bedroom house comfortably accommodates up to six people. This Art Deco styled home, when built in the late 1940s was one of the original year 'round residences on the west side of the lake. Lovingly maintained, the interior features a breakfast nook, a variety of warm wood finishes, and has an efficient wood-burning fireplace nestled in a brick feature wall in the large central room. With over 20 windows, some floor to ceiling, you can be assured of breathtaking views from every room. Outside, you'll enjoy the spacious patio ( partially covered ) when barbecuing for friends and family. It's here you can enjoy the warmth and beauty of evening and setting sun as you relax and unwind from the day's activities.

There are only a few properties on Shawnigan Lake, of this size, that offer unobstructed deep-water access, while providing privacy in a natural setting. Conveniently located in the central part of the lake, there is quick access to shopping and services in the village, a variety of dining experiences, local wineries and sightseeing in the spectacular Cowichan Valley. You'll come for a visit and want to stay for a lifetime.
