About John Poletti

I have been skiing for 70 years and I feel this is one of the nicest ski resorts in North America. The mountain faces south and has great fall line skiing with a very nice Alpine Village.It is never crowded, the conditions are much better than Whistler and it is easy to get to from Seattle and Vancouver by car on an All Weather Highway.

Great family memories!

The condo was perfect! John was easy to deal with and always quick to reply to any questions via email. The beds and bedding were comfy and the layout worked well for us with 2 couples and 3 kids. The kitchen was well stocked and even had lots of extra pantry supplies if needed. We especially enjoyed the hot tub after a long day on the slopes. The ski out to Morrisey chair was easy enough (we like stopping at the yellow "umbrella hut" at the bottom for coffee/hot chocolate) and the ski in was a breeze once you know where to turn off. The laundry room with ski storage was great and kept everything tidy and out of the way. We can't wait to come back next year!

Home away from home

This place was awesome, a perfect ski-in, ski-out location and about 10 minutes walk from the ameneties. The townhouse is spacious and confortable.

The kitchen was fully equiped and more. The hot tub was a bonus after a long day of ski, snowbaording and snowshoeing. The Christmas decorations were a nice touch, felt just like home.

John is always available and promptly answers your questions. If we decide to go back to Sun Peaks we would stay there again.

Exceeded our Expectations

John was a pleasure to deal with. He has a beautiful property in a fantastic location for ski in/ski out and easy walk to the village. The kitchen was well stocked and the place had everything we needed.

Can't wait to go back. We've already booked for next year!!!

amazing place to stay

Great accommodation, wide open floor plan on the main level, 3 bedrooms, and having the garage to store our bikes, gear and park the car was awesome. There was 4 adults in our party and it was very comfortable, lots of room, just had a great time.

Great condo!

Went to Sunpeaks with theee friends for Spartan Race weekend in the fall. Beautiful setting. Great location and nice little 5-10 minute walk into the village. The four of us all really enjoyed this condo very much. It’s beautiful with high ceilings. Three bedrooms and three full bathrooms and plenty of room. It’s very spacious and it was nice to be able to park in the garage. This is the best equipped place I have ever stayed in. All you need for cooking and a well stocked pantry of essentials which was so nice to have! We enjoyed sunny afternoon drinks out on the deck and evening drinks in the hot tub. We didn’t use the laundry room or the bbq but what great extra features to have. Great price made it affordable.

The only negative was that we had to take our garbage and recycling with us when we left which was a pain - loading up our garbage into our packed up vehicle full of luggage (kind of gross) and then once we finally found the transfer station it was closed. We were trying to get going on the road early in the morning and get home. Perhaps this is fairly standard in sunpeaks condos? But I’ve never had to do that in any other place I have stayed. Besides that everything else was perfect.

We would definitely stay here again and I have recommended to friends. Thank you so much for sharing your place John and Mary :)

Owner's Response: Thanks. You are correct about the garbage. It is a problem. The transfer station in the summer is not open seven days a week. It is also not open until 10 AM.The City of Kamloops has a transfer station at the bottom of the hill that is open at 8 AM. It is really large. I have a real problem with guests that fly in. They do not have a car. I just wrote the mayor asking if they could set up a franchise for garbage pick up. There could be a small fee but everyone has a smart phone today and they could set up an app to handle it. I think the resort is going through growing pains. They also have a problem with the free shuttle service in the winter. The resort keeps it a secret. I would have the bus location running off an app so people would know when the bus will arrive. I mentioned it to the resort a few years ago and it went right over the girls head.

Very well equipped and close to the village.

This townhouse has everything you need and more! Very equipped kitchen with tons of spices and even a crockpot! Very well maintained and John (the owner) is quick to reply to emails. Very nice complex and close to the village. I will definitely recommend this everyone!
