A Step Back In Time. !!
If you love Historic Places/History. Then Clove Cottage is a step back in Time. It was Cozy ,Warm, and so inviting ! The Cottage had ample parking. It was very clean and the bedding was Super comfortable. It's close to plenty of Shopping@Woodbury Commons .. John and Laurel were Superhosts who live on the Property. They were very informative about the history of the cottage and the surrounding area and helpful on things to do during our stay. We only stayed the wknd however I could have stayed longer. A Great quick getaway for some quiet time with your Spouse !! We will definitely return in the Spring.

Secluded Location
Quaint cottage that was well maintained with a fully appointed kitchen and full bath. Hosts were gracious and very knowledgeable about all facets of the surrounding area. Great location for both nature watching, hiking and shopping.

A little piece of history
We had a very nice stay in the cottage. The character of the cottage was amazing. Very well stocked kitchen and nice sized rooms it was truly a home away from home. The home owners were very nice and friendly. We would definitely recommend staying here. Why stay in a hotel when you can stay in your own private cottage?
Stayed 28 nights in Aug 2016

You can't go wrong with this one.
Take a step back in time to the 1800's with this ever so cozy, quaint, quiet retreat cottage nestled in the woods just off the main road. My wife and I just spent a very relaxing weekend there. We didn't want to leave. Very conveniently located to many amenities. We will certainly be back. Where is the 6 star choice option?

We have lovingly restored the main house (1772) and grounds and have rented the cottage long term for over 20 years. Offering it now on a monthly or extended stay basis.
We are hands-on owners and experienced in the real estate management business for over 30 years.

Why they chose this property

Enjoy the relaxation and views of the Schunemunk mountain ridge but have all the modern conveniences and full use of a cottage while you enjoy the Hudson Valley. Choice of all NY City area airports and public transportation. Should have a car though.

What makes this property unique

Cottage is one- of- a- kind-probably built first before the main house. Our driveway was the original Clove Road and rumor has it George Washington marched his troops right past. The main house is also thought to have served on the Underground Railway to nearby Goshen, NY, now the county seat.
