You’ll fall in love with Park City and our charming one-bedroom condo with everything provided to make your getaway relaxing and carefree . Full bathroom remodel this year. New Milguard sound dampening, solar/thermal windows ensure quiet and warmth.

KITCHEN: Updated kitchen has all you'll need for cooking and is stocked with complimentary coffee, tea, hot chocolate and more.

NEW LG Combination Washer/Dryer suitable for small loads

LIVING AREA: Wood burning fireplace and complimentary wood to get you started, large flat screen TV, queen-size sofa sleeper with memory foam. Additional trifold floor pads upon request so children can sleep separately (or adults!)

BEDROOM: Queen bed with new mattress, extra blankets and pillows, a flat screen TV, ceiling fan,, and good lighting for night-time reading. All new linens for 2017/2018 season.

BATHROOM: Recently Remodeled and very clean. Toiletries, hair dryer, plush towels provided, as well as cozy bathrobes/spa towels for going to and from the outdoor hot tub/pool.

IT’S ALL WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE OR REACHABLE BY FREE BUS !

Sports and ski rental shops, spa/salon, Starbucks, grocery and drug stores, banks and more are just across the street and within a block or two. Squatters Brew Pub (1/2 mile)and other restaurants are a short walk or bus ride. Ride the free bus to Tanger Shopping Outlets, Historic Main Street (.8 miles) for unique shopping/dining experiences, or to Deer Valley and The Canyons for more ski adventures.

SKI LIFT ACCESSIBILITY: The free bus stop is across the street and will take you to all area ski resorts. Guests say they have walked to the First Time Lift (in ski boots) which is located in the resort parking lot across and up the street.

ART & MUSIC – Park City has tons of music offerings and a monthly gallery stroll that can’t be missed. Our condo is also decorated with original artwork.

About Sandi Olson & Hardin Davis

My husband and I moved from the East Coast in the late 60s and chose to stay in Utah because it offers so many wonderful year round outdoor activities. Between us we enjoy biking (both road and mountain), skiing (of questionable abilities), hiking, snowshoeing, participating in basketball, indoor climbing, hiking, or whatever else seems worth trying.

On the more subdued end of our lives, my husband is a musician and writer (songs/books/essays/poetry). When not in the mountains, I teach art and paint. For the better part of our lives we have been self-employed--my husband as owner of Acoustic Music in Salt Lake City, and me as a local artist and art instructor.

Why Sandi Olson & Hardin Davis chose Old Town

Several years ago, we rented a condo so we could have a 'Park City experience' in the summer --mainly mountain and road cycling--(and to ease my pain of a really big birthday!). The pure air, miles and miles of bike trails, and the splendid mountain views sold us on having a summer retreat fairly close to our home--one that we could enjoy in the summer and share in the winter months.

What makes this condo unique

The location of this condo is great because a car isn't necessary--every need is satisfied by walking or taking the free bus. Park City abounds with entertainment events all year round--many of them free to the public.

The welcome basket was very welcome since we got in too late and no time for shopping. Being able to do our washing inhouse was fantastic. I also thank you again for the humidifier. Made us temperate-tropical people very comfortable.

A Wonderful White Christmas

The beginning of the year gets busy and unfortunately It has taken me a lot longer than I would've liked to review this beautful property but better late than never :)

From the beginning of our communications before renting, the payment process, recommendation of things to do and places to eat emails, until the end of our check out, Sandi was just the perfect host/owner.

Our family stayed in this charming condo throughout Christmas and it was perfect! Sandi had a welcoming breakfast basket awaiting for us when we arrived. She had also set up a beautiful Christmas tree full of treats for my boys along with stockings! It was like being at home!!

Besides the wonderful treatment, they have taken the time to make sure you have everything you can possibly need during your stay! Even extra batteries for the remotes! The condo is meticulously clean, they have extra sheets and blankets, firewood, extra clean towels, soap, shampoo and even tooth paste. They also have wifi and board games!!! Which we took advantage of throughout our stay!

The location of the unit is perfect! We were able to walk (even while snowing) to the 7/11, the Main Street area and the slopes. On the nights that it was too cold we were able to catch the bus which leaves you at the corner. We also took an uber which came out very inexpensive because we were so close. This location is Prime and central to where you want to be!

The view from the private balcony was to the slopes and just beautiful!

I can not have possibly asked for a better rental!

Thank you Sandi for making our vacation so special! Even taking the time to send us white Christmas snow wishes!!! It was truly our joy to stay in your home. We look forward to staying there again in the future!

Immaculate!

My wife and I stayed here for three nights in early February and can't say enough good things about it.

Location: It's about a 5 minute walk to the lifts (literally across the street from one of the main Park City resort parking lots). Downtown is a longer walk (~20 minutes) but bus stops are only about 50 yards from the door and there are several bus routes that stop there on their way to Park City's town center. Starbucks and the Fresh Market are both close walking distance if you don't have a vehicle. Parking lot was never full even on the weekends, making it easy to come and go as we pleased.

Unit: Perfect size for two people. It's been completely renovated at some point and presents like it is a brand new unit. Cleanliness and overall condition were immaculate - better than any rental/VRBO I've ever experienced. Sandi's pride of ownership definitely comes through in how the unit is decorated and the efficient use of space and organization. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with flatware, dishes, popcorn, and coffee (my wife was particularly impressed by the quality of the chef's knives) and Sandi goes the extra mile with the welcome basket and even logs for the fireplace. We didn't use to communal hot tub or pool but it was only a few steps away.

Can't recommend this place enough!

Everything you need in a vacation rental

Sandi (the owner) was great to deal with and very responsive. She must use the apartment frequently herself, as everything you need is there. The bed is very comfortable and you have a choice of firm or soft pillows. There's even a white-noise machine if you want to drown out the street noise if you leave the window open. We cooked dinner most nights and the kitchen is fully stocked (very nice dishes and quality knives). Sandi does a great job of leaving instructions for everything from the TV remote to the washer/dryer combination unit. Some of the things that were a really nice touch were the gift basket (with wine, chips & salsa, chocolate, cookies, etc.), bathrobes to take to the pool area, basic food (coffee, spices, etc.) and toiletries there without having to go shopping first, and plenty of hooks in the bathroom. The apartment is certainly within walking distance of the ski lifts, but we found that it's easier to drive and park there instead of carrying the skis.

Great Stay Close to the Slopes

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was nice and close to the slopes (~5 min walk to the First Time lift). The condo was clean and had everything we needed. We will definitely look to stay here if we visit again!

Best host you could expect in an Airbnb experience

Recently spent 6 nights at this charming 1BR condo in Park City. Sandi (your host) anticipates every conceivable need of your stay -- from a welcoming gift basket of food/beverages, to kleenex boxes on every counter (highly necessary if you're coming from sea level). The condo's location is spectacular -- 2 blocks from Starbucks (although the condo comes with a french press and coffee on site) and Fresh Market. The condo atmosphere is warm and inviting. The shower/bathroom ample (good water pressure), and the hot tub/heated pool 50 feet away very inviting. The perfect get away for an individual or couple.

Thoughtful, welcoming, efficient

Great place! 1st and foremost, Sandi has this condo set up very efficiently, with detailed, thoughtful touches throughout (instructions for remotes, washer/drier, heating, even the folding chairs; 4 color-coded water glasses in the bathroom on a shelf conveniently just above the sink, robes, extra pillows and (plush) towels, kitchenware neatly in sight, guitar in easy reach). I didn't think we'd put much of the welcome basket to use, but we (2 teen girls plus parents) ended up going thru most of it (fruit, chips & salsa, cookies, juice). Sandi was also very generous with basic necessities (spices, condiments, tea, even lotion!), making us feel like we were staying with family, which helped us sit back and just enjoy dinner/games/TV in our evenings after skiing. The condo was clean, had a nice shower, nice bedding (although the mattress was a bit hard for our taste), pleasant decor, and is just big enough for our needs. Location is very good - we left our skis at the base, so it was an easy walk (maybe 10 minutes) carrying boots over our shoulder. We also easily walked to the grocery store.

The pool was definitely heated, so I got to waist deep before bailing (80 deg is my cutoff); kids would be fine playing in it. The hot tub was ok, but we wished it was much deeper and hotter (a couple was in before us that had the top off and bubbles running), so we only went once. 1 gate is pretty close, but was padlocked; the open (combo lock) gate was 2x the distance, which played heavily into my ambition.

Overall, I was very happy with our stay (1/2-1/6/2018) and that was 90% due to our thoughtful host.
