Little Mermaid - Luxurious, Spacious, Private,with Beach Below.
This unit is spacious........a full kitchen with all amenities; a living
room with Satellite Dish TV, Telephone; a bedroom with a King
sized bed (or twins, if preferred), and a bathroom en suite with a
washer and dryer. There is Wireless for your computer. a Patio
overlooking Long Bay Beach below, and it is walkable or you can drive;
paved all the way.. You can sit on the balcony and enjoy the view
of the beach below or the sailboats dotting the not too distant Sir
Francis Drake Channel. About 12 islands are in the background; this is a fantastic view. . This unit is a sister unit to the 2 bedroom Mermaid Villa w/pool, (although separate and private) in case a family needs additional space.. Little Mermaid has a carport for your car. It is all on one ground level floor and Beef Island Airport is nearby for
easy arrival and departure and taxi service, if needed. There are
many car rental agencies to choose from. Everyone is welcome
to enjoy this fantastic experience in the Caribbean. Please note
that only a 2 week rental for Xmas and New Years will be accepted.

Amazing views and host
We loved our stay in Jan’s villa. The views were amazing and the place was quiet, well equipped and very clean. The ocean breezes were refreshing and kept us cool all day and night. Jan was an excellent host who even baked us a homemade apple pie! The place was conveniently located close to a beautiful beach and a short drive into Roadtown. We will certainly be returning in the future.

Wonderful large apt. Great view of Long Bay beach . We also enjoyed watching planes come and go. Easy access to Trellis Bay and ferry to Virgin Gorda. Jan is a very welcoming. Didnt miss that there was no AC as fans and breeze kept it very comfortable. Easy walk down to beach for snorkel or lunch/drinks. Very much enjoyed our stay

Great location, great views, safe and relaxing! We stayed in the 1 bedroom below Jan's place. It is a large space with a den, large kitchen, large bedroom and bathroom. We had our own outside table and chairs to relax with a drink after driving around the island all day! Very close to Trellis Bay which has several good restaurants, the "full moon" party, and the ferry to Virgin Gorda, which we did. We much preferred to be on Beef Island away from the crowds! And it was the perfect place to discover all of Tortola! Jan is a dear, and made sure we had everything we needed. We would definitely recommend her place, and we will stay there again if we go back to beautiful Tortola.

I have owned and operated this property as rental units for 29 years and have lived on this Estate for almost 42 years. I have. sailed, boated, snorkeled, dived, and owned a gift shop. My time now is devoted to rentals. I came from Barcelona,
NY on Lake Erie and have loved living here all these years.

Why they chose this property

My husband and I bought this property and when I became a widow, decided to start a
rental business. My husband was a pilot and we had a helicopter and just flew around these islands. Being near the airport has been especially nice for many
reasons.

What makes this property unique

The beach below is beautiful, either for swimming or walking. and I never get tired of looking at it. Beyond is the airport making it easy to arrive and depart. And
beyond the airport are the beautiful islands in the background with boats sailing along.
