About Jenny Dang

My husband and I love to travel and meet people from all over the world. We have two adorable furbabies. One husky by the name of Mango and a chihuahua by the name of Precious. We are a very active family and love snowboarding, hiking, fishing, and exploring all around Big Bear Lake. We love spending time at the cabin and we know your experience will be the same!

Jenny Dang purchased this cabin in 2010

Why Jenny Dang chose Big Bear Lake

We love to get away from 'big city life' and escape to the mountains. Big Bear Lake is so close to all of the cities of Southern California that it is the perfect getaway. You feel like you are in the high Sierras, but it is a short drive to get here. The cabin is in the perfect location close to the lake, shopping and skiing.

What makes this cabin unique

Whispering Pines Lodge is in the perfect location. You can walk to Holloway's Marina and rent a boat to do some trout fishing, or rent a kayak to explore the serene lake in the morning or evening. You can also learn to wakeboard at their new cable park! Shopping at the Village is only a couple minutes away, and you can be on the slopes in minutes! Or just relax on the deck and listen to the wind whisper through the pine trees.

Beautiful cabin.

  • 5 of 5

This is the first time our family has used VRBO and while a little skeptical this cabin put our worries to ease right away. The cabin was beautiful, clean, cute and enough room for our family, which included a 1 and 3 year old. We loved how they had Lincoln logs and toy animals for our kids along with board games for us adults. The attention to detail was amazing. It was the whole Big Bear cabin experience. We will definitely be back and would refer this cabin to anyone looking to have a cabin in the mountains experience.

Wonderful Home Away From Home

  • 5 of 5

My family and I enjoyed the nice, cozy cabin. It had all the necessities that we needed in order to have a comfortable stay. There were plenty of pots, pans, towels, etc. The cabin was very clean in all rooms. The weather was very cold but the cabin provided a nice heater to keep us warm. All of the board games were also a nice treat. We were able to spend quality family time by the fireplace for several hours. We also made a trip to Alpine Mountain which was 2-3 minutes driving distance from the cabin. Some of us even walked from the cabin to Alpine Mountain since it was not very far at all. We hope to be able to stay again. It truly felt like home away from home.

Home very nice

  • 5 of 5

The home was very nice and well equipped. When we realized that the wifi didn't work the owner told us that he would comp us some of our pay as we'd need to use more of our data plans which is very nice as the company wouldn't be able to come out on the weekend to fix it. I would definitely recommend this home for a nice stay in big bear.
