TREAT YOURSELF! Boat & Grill included for your waterfront stay.

Enjoy viewing the canal and tropical birds nesting in the mangrove trees. There is a dock if you have a boat. You can navigate up to a 25-foot boat in this canal. If you don't have a boat there is a canoe at the property for you to enjoy exploring the backwater canals and viewing the snook and manatee.

The home is a duplex with an upstairs and a downstairs unit. Each unit is very private with its own entrance and private lanai. This listing is for the downstairs unit. Pets are welcome. The downstairs unit was recently renovated with new cabinets and living room furniture. It is located in the center of Bonita Springs, walking distance to most attractions and the beach. The home is clean and cozy.

There is a king-size bed in bedroom 1 and a queen-size bed in bedroom 2. There is also a twin-size fold-out futon in the living room. You have several dining options - Enjoy eating at a larger table for 6 inside or bar seating for two. The kitchen has all of the appliances and dishes you will need to make your stay comfortable. There is a 60 inch smart tv equipped with Roku.

The yard is very large and next to a newly built mansion. There is a grill so you have plenty of room for a barbecue! There is a shared laundry room for your convenience. Everyone that walks in says ''Agh, we would like to stay here''. I hope you will enjoy it too.

The duplex home is located 1 mile from the beach. Enjoy walking to the beach for breakfast at Docs or sunset cocktails. There are wave runner rentals and parasailing rentals there. On your walk or drive to the beach, there are many restaurants, shops and boat rentals for your enjoyment.

In addition, you can walk to the Prime house steak house around the corner. Also within walking distance of the house is C Level Wine Bar, Gatsby's Pizza, the Fish House Restaurant (waterfront and one of my favorite!), Coconut Jacks, Master Bait and Tackle and Winds Beach Supply Store. There are so many things within walking distance I'm sure you'll enjoy going for many evening strolls. It is a great neighborhood and I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

Dishwasher but no detergent. We only had 2 garbage bags for 5 days. 3 towels for 5 days. It’s just too expensive to pay for a house rental and then to spend a fortune at the grocery store.

Lovely but significant traffic noise
This unit has been very tastefully renovated and decorated. It was very clean, and we enjoyed the canal. It could use a few additional items: a chest of drawers for unpacking suitcases, a patio table on the lanai and a couple of beach chairs. We did contact the owner, Sue, about the chest of drawers and a few other items. She was very nice and arrived at the condo within a couple of hours with the items we requested. However, what she brought us to use as a chest of drawers was a 3 drawer plastic container. While we greatly appreciated her effort to quickly provide us with a solution, the plastic container is flimsy. I do hope she provides an actual piece of furniture for future guests. There were two things we did not care for. Very little natural light comes in, giving the unit the feel of a basement apartment, even though it is completely above ground. Some strategically placed mirrors might help with this. The other thing is there is consistent traffic noise from Bonita Beach Road, which is only a block away. I can recommend this location for a short stay. The traffic noise would prevent us from booking a longer stay.

Nice place in a convenient location!
Property is really clean with comfortable beds and nice lanai. Great space for 2-3 people. Close to beaches and restaurants - Leoni's is amazing. If in bottom unit and top is rented, you will hear footsteps and water running, but no voices. We didn't spend a lot of time at the unit but if we did and the upper tenants were also there, it might have been a bit awkward to share the dock. The dock is sturdy, and we saw manatees on our last day (it was raining when they were there). Water pressure of the shower and temperature were very good. The only reason for 4 stars is that the rental is very close to a main road, so there was almost always traffic noise.

My husband and I bought this home in 2002. I stopped working to stay home with my kids; this would be my way of contributing to the family income while being able to stay home and raise them. Now my children are all in college and I still love renting this home. There are many families that come back year after year that I love to hear from.
The home has been renovated several times, most recently after Hurricane Ian. I had to pull it off of the market for 2023 but looking forward to renting again in 2024.

Why they chose this property

This property is in an excellent location. It is quiet and private on a large lot, yet close to everything. The home is surrounded by several new mansions. There are limited waterfront properties in Florida and many vacationers enjoy the privacy of being in a home rather than in a condo. If you are traveling and more space is needed please inquire about our other properties.
We pride ourselves on providing clean and comfortable accommodations.

What makes this property unique

You can walk to the beach or enjoy boating in the canal with the canoe on site. You also can enjoy fishing off of your dock. There are fantastic restaurants within walking distance. There is also an American Legion within walking distance which I am told is open to the public and makes great drinks! The home has a washer and dryer so there's no need to overpack.
