This Elk Ridge townhome is the perfect spot for your family vacation.

WARM and INVITING from the moment you walk through the door, you will feel right at home. It is a SHORT DISTANCE TO TOWN and a VERY CLOSE, EASY, AND SHORT WALK TO SNOWFLAKE LIFT. The walk to the Snowflake lift is approximately 200 yds.

The shuttle stop is also right across the street from the town home.

A THREE NIGHT MINIMUM IS REQUIRED ON ALL STAYS!

RENTAL STEPS:

~Email booking request to property manager

~When booking request is accepted, first payment is 50% of rental total and is due

~Property manager will email traveler rental agreement to be filled out, signed, and returned by email in order to complete reservation.

~Welcome letter is emailed after rental agreement is returned.

~Welcome letter contains all the information you will need to know about the property.

~A reminder email will be sent 10 days prior to arrival to pay balance through VRBO account.

CANCELLATION POLICY:

~A 60 day notice from the day of arrival is required for a refund of deposit.

~If it's within 60 days, we will try to rebook days already booked and refund any days we can rebook.

~How far is the walk to the Snowflake Lift?

The Snowflake lift is approximately 200 yds from the town home. It is at the corner of Four O'Clock and Kingscrown.

~How far is the walk to town?

It is about a 6-10 min walk down to Main Street. It is an easy walk on a side walk. Walk times will vary depending on the weather.

~Where is the nearest shuttle stop?

The nearest shuttle stop is right across the street from the town home. You can see the stop from the back deck of the town home.

~Where is the nearest ski school for the kids?

The closest ski school is just up the street (1-2 min) from Elk Ridge. It is at the Base of Beaver Run at Peak 9.

~The UVHOA pool is accessible for this unit. It is open as long as the mountain is open and during June, July, and August. It is a 5 min walk, or a 2-3 min drive from the unit.

~CHECK-OUT TIME IS 10:00 AM & CHECK-IN TIME IS 4:00 PM

Great location...particularly if you rent equipment at Charter because it’s walkable from the condo, right next to Snowflake lift, and they let you leave shoes during the day and hold the equipment overnight. And there is a 30% discount. Condo was nice...owner Jill very easy to work with.

Great Trip and Perfect Home

This condo was perfect for a group of 9 people. This was prime location as we could walk to Snowflake lift and downtown in under 5min. The condo was vary spacious and the tri-level worked out perfect where people could sleep and not be bothered while others were up. The "light switch" fire places were very neat and made the place feel cozy and homey. The hot tub was amazing and super hot which was perfect after a long day of skiing. I would definitely stay here again and recommended this place to anyone.

Guys Trip

Myself and seven of my long time bros stayed 4 nights and the lodge worked out absolutely perfect. It was walking distance from the snowflake lift and Main St. Although, we mostly drove when heading to Main St as there was plenty of parking around. We had 2 vehicles and having the garage to store one of them as well as all of our snowboard/ski gear was convenient. Plenty of room to sleep 8 grown men and we weren't congested by any means. The kitchen functioned well and we actually cooked every night so it was nice to have. I would highly recommend this lodge as it's very affordable and spacious.

Only complaint (and reason for 4 stars) was that the hot tub wasn't hot when we got there and took until the second night to get up to temperature. However, when I reached out to Jill to see if it was an issue with the hot tub there was a technician out within a couple hours to check it out. Great service! Also, the upstairs showers never seemed to get hot, it was almost unbearable so we all pretty much showered downstairs. I would imagine this is pretty normal considering it dipped down into single digit temps when we were there.

All in all a great stay and would highly recommend it!

Owner's Response: Thanks so much for your feedback! We love hearing you had a great time and would highly recommend the property to future renters. In regards to the hot tub.... The hot tub company did a drain and refill prior to your arrival. With our cold January temperatures, it took a little longer for the water to get back up to temperature and there were no other issues with the hot tub. The good thing is the Elk Ridge town homes have access to the Upper Village HOA pool and hot tubs which is within walking distance from the property. The pictures are featured on the listing. This is a great alternative and not something every property has access to. In regards to the boiler..... the thermostat on the hot water heater went out. It was fixed immediately when we received your email after your departure. I wish you would have made us aware of this during your stay when you encountered this issue. Thank you again for your feedback.

Great Stay

Everything is as described, and the property was excellent. Booking was a breeze and we had confirmation on our refund on the deposit by the time we were back in Denver. We had a family gathering at the property and everyone (12) slept comfortably and mentioned how spacious the townhouse is. Only downside is parking with large groups but that is clearly called out so no complaints.

The Property is very nice and spacious.

We enjoyed our stay with our family and the townhouse is very nice. My husband and I had the upper level bedroom. You needed to have the windows open because of the heat and the only downfall is it was quite noisy from neighbors on the deck right below the windows and street traffic behind the townhouse. The 3 bedrooms on the lower level were quiet and cool. It would be great for skiing with the ski lift being within walking distance.. I enjoyed walking up the ski runs above Snowflake Dr.

Owner's Response: Thank you so much for your response. We love hearing you had a nice time! The close proximity to the ski runs is a wonderful thing! In regards to the upstairs bedroom. We do understand it can get hot. The nature of heat is that is rises and the upstairs bedroom can get warm. Using the ceiling fan in that bedroom helps to cool it down along with the additional fan in the house. To be clear, the deck right below the windows of that bedroom is the deck of the same town home. The street behind the town home is a side street. We do understand the noise from the side street may have been more, because the timing of your stay was one of the busiest weekends of the year. Again, thanks so much for your time and feedback!
