Join the activity on the street; view it while sipping/grilling/dining on your spacious balcony; or retreat to your quiet, comfortable apartment with high ceilings, hardwood floors, 12-foot windows, central air/heat, comfortable king-size bed with luxury cotton linens, well-appointed cook's kitchen, full bath with soaking tub/shower and fluffy cotton towels. Amenities include gas grill; washer/dryer; DIRECTVs; stereo system; and WiFi. Property was designed by Melissa, an interior designer, for herself and Gerry, an etched glass artist, and contains art glass and paintings throughout. The apartment is designed to sleep two but will sleep four.

About Melissa Myers

Gerry, an etched glass artist, and Melissa, an interior designer, purchased this 'building no one wanted' and our relationship to this historic property has been a longstanding love affair. We enjoy sharing it with others and have met a lot of fun and interesting people doing just that.

The pictures do not do justice to the space. It is HUGE, open, airy and bright. The apartment is beautifully decorated, stocked with everything you could need and very clean. The location just can't be beat. And the patio is also bigger than it looks - just perfect for people watching and relaxing. Don't hesitate - book this property!

This is our fourth stay in Casabianca. It is lovely, comfortable and convenient to so many restaurants and good shopping. It feels like our second home and we are already planning our next stay.

Lovely Historic Apartment

Our stay has been nice, quiet and peaceful. I love the historical aspect of the apartment and The Garden District. It’s fun to feel more like a local in this New Orleans apartment without the tourism of The French Quarter.

The apartment is sweet and quaint with a very comfortable bed and a nice balcony. It’s also close to some great coffee houses and restaurants.

We could not have been happier with our stay at Casabianca. The space is beautiful. Very comfortable bed and all you would need in the kitchen . Great balcony to hang out on. Really gives you the authentic feel of New Orleans. Much better than a hotel in the Quarter. We would absolutely stay again.

One small thing... the dryer can catch and snag your clothes so be aware of that if you do laundry.

Historic Magazine Row, our 19th Century architectural jewel, is home to very unique businesses and residences. Nearby is Audubon Park, Zoo, & Golf Course; St.Charles Avenue mansions and the architecture and gardens of our area,The Garden District; the French Quarter; the Mighty Mississippi River; Mardi Gras Parades, Mardi Gras World where the magic happens; WWII Museum; Coliseum Square Park; Ogden Museum of Southern Art; Aquarium of the Americas; The Insectarium; Riverboat Excursions; Convention Center; the National Shrine of Blessed Francis Xavier Seelos; Contemporary Art Center; Julia Street Art District; and the Magazine Street Art District. Transportation is readily available by Streetcar, Bus, Uber, Lyft, Blue Bikes Rental, Off and On Double Decker Bus, and Taxis. And the French Quarter is accessible by all these methods and is a short ride away.
