Spend time relaxing in this brand new, never lived in, tri-level home where stress just seems to melt away. With four bedrooms and a loft, there is plenty of space for up to 12 people to sleep. Our two family rooms were designed to allow the adults to gather on the main floor by the amazing picture windows while children play video games downstairs. It is also convenient for two families traveling together. The large kitchen and dining area are perfect for sharing meals. The three sided wrap around porch provides picturesque views of the Sawtell and Centennial Mountains to the south, Bald Peak to the north and the Black Mountains to the west. It is also a great spot for a barbecue and you will be amazed when you step outside at night and gaze up at the millions of stars.

Our non-smoking spacious home includes wireless Internet access, satellite television, DVD player, washer and dryer, and a gas grill. Open year round our comfortable retreat is just minutes away from the West Yellowstone Park Entrance. For those who love to fish, Henry's Lake, or the world famous Madison River are the place. Enjoy fly fishing, canoeing, white water rafting, horseback riding, or swimming in the clear aqua blue water of Wade Lake. If snowmobiling is your thing one call will have sleds delivered to your door.

There are many great local places to explore besides Yellowstone National Park. Visit Mesa Falls to see and feel the mist and thunder of the powerful rushing waters. Head to Virginia City, a historical gold mining, ghost town to experience a part of the original Old West. Or drive to Earthquake Lake visitor center, the site where over 80 million tons of rock crashed into a canyon back in 1959 blocking the Madison River and forming a what locals call, Quake Lake.

From hunting and fishing, bike riding and hiking, motorcycle touring, cross country skiing and site seeing, Moose Lake Lodge is your place to call home in the West Yellowstone area. Whether this is your first visit to the area or a return trip you will never tire of the majestic beauty of your surroundings. A retreat at Moose Lake Lodge is the place where memories of a lifetime are made.

Give us a call to make arrangements for your stay and we will share with you some of the area’s hidden treasures for half day and full day outings that will make your vacation extra special.

Guestbook comments from the owner

My husband and his family used to fish Henry's Lake every Memorial Day but hadn't been back in 20 years. Bringing our young family to this cabin along with their grandparents and other extended family was really special.

This cabin was a great space for creating memories. And what a view! The weather was incredible. We loved having the weekend to enjoy each other's company and explore this beautiful, special part of the world.

Thank you so much! Hope to see you in 2015!

Stunning views all around, gorgeous house just outside the hustle of town

  • 5 of 5

Our group spent 6 nites in this amazing house just outside the town of west yellowstone. The house overlooks Henry’s lake & has amazing views both out front & back. It was clean, well appointed and everyone was very comfortable. It was a breeze to access the west entrance of YNP which enabled us to easily reach all areas of the park. It also was an easy drive into town for dinner on those days we did not want to cook. Absolutely recommend this home for your trip to Yellowstone NP. Owner was very responsive to our questions & easy to work with. Thanks for a great stay!!!

Very Good

  • 4 of 5

Waking up everyday with an awesome view of the lake and the mountains. House was clean and spacious, with enough bathrooms to accomodate a party of 12. About 20 minutes drive to the west entrance of Yellowstone, nearest grocery is at West Yellowstone. Would recommend this beautiful home instead of staying in a hotel. For people traveling with kids - just be careful with the railings on the loft, some of it are lose. . .

Great!

  • 5 of 5

Great house in a wonderful location! Seven of us stayed here and, in spite of lots of snow, had good access to skiing at Big Sky and snow-coaching and cross-country skiing in West Yellowstone. We shopped for groceries at Lucky's in Billings before making the trek to the house. Once there, it's a great place to relax, view the scenery, cook dinner, and sleep (super comfy beds) for the next day's adventure. Going back out for dinner in winter would have been tough. Our only issue was that there's limited space in the main room for everyone to hang out together. There is, however, a lower level family room, which would be good for younger kids/teens.

Definetly a good house for a large group to sleep.. not much room for gatherings... also , not where the web site says it is.

Owner's Response: Unless your bring more then the max of 12 people there is a ton of room for everyone. The home is exactly where we say it is in the add. If you stop to take photos or you drive 35mph it could take you 30 minutes to the Park. If you drive the speed limit its 15 to 20 minutes max to the park. I have made this drive hundreds of times. I will never get reviews we get 20 guests who email call or write a review telling me they had the best vacation of there life then you get 1 who just has to find something to complain about.

Great place

  • 4 of 5

We loved this rental. It was close to the Yellowstone entrance. This rental was large enough for our family of 9. The kitchen had what we needed and large enough for two cooking together. We loved sitting on the front porch in the evening watching out at the lake and beautiful views. There is one thing I need to mention is the railes upstairs is not connected to the top raile. If you have young or small children you should be careful.

Incredible, just incredible

  • 5 of 5

This modern cabin was incredible and perfect for our family get together. It perfectly accommodated 12 people; there were spaces inside and out to gather or be alone. The beds were so comfy and relaxing. This kitchen is well equipped. The views all around are amazing; the wild flowers were spectacular. It's a photographer's dream. We regularly used the grill and fire pit; everything was so easy.

Make sure you go to the places recommended by the owners. They were a delight.
