This Northeast Tennessee city has a rich history in early American life, including proximity to Civil War sites and events. This unique home is located within walking distance to many of the historical sites, antique stores, and restaurants in town. The Andrew Johnson (17th President of the United States) National Historic Site is one block away from the home. The property is convenient to many other locations such as Gatlinburg (approximately one hour away), Bristol Motor Speedway (approximately 1.5 hours away), Historic Jonesborough (approximately 45 minutes away), and Asheville NC (approximately one hour away). There are many beautiful golf courses with breathtaking mountain views that are in close proximity to the home. Nearby there are also outdoor activities including skiing in the winter, mountain hiking trails, and white water rafting. The fully-equipped kitchen with an island has a large French door refrigerator, a range with a double oven, a microwave, dishwasher, and granite countertops with plenty of cabinet and counter space.
