Nice home with gorgeous views.

  • 5 of 5

Our family enjoyed everything about this property! Well kept, everything we needed during our stay was readily available. The views are amazing, the neighbors were very friendly and shared their knowledge of the Soldotna area. Spent most days on the fishing platform enjoying the views and catching Sockeye on the Kenai river. The Legg family has a beautiful, relaxing home.

Up Stream Fishing

  • 5 of 5

Returning to your home state for vacation comes with a long list of dos and don'ts. Imagine how blessed we were to find a long time Alaskan, avid outdoorsman, and a friendly owner at the Kenai Riverfront Chalet. The peaceful riverfront location has a well thoughtout fishing dock and a relaxing waterfront firepit. WIth wildlife all around, this was a perfect combination for our family. We had that truly coveted amazing Alaskan experience. . . Thanks, definitely coming back!

Beautiful home right on the river!

  • 5 of 5

This home has a perfect layout for a group of six. All the amenities, a great central location to access other areas, and the town of Soldotna has everything you need. I fell in love with the place. Reasonably priced, and worth every penny. We will stay here again the next time we come back. Awesome!

Location

Nearest Airport
3 Miles
Soldotna
Nearest Ferry

Alaska State Ferry
Car: necessary

You are close enough to town should you want to go in, you can go shop the galleries or charter fish in Homer, take glacier cruises out of Seward, with many little tourists stops along the way. However, once you're here you may just want to stay. We are at a great location to travel to other destinations on the peninsula or 2.5 hours to Anchorage but we often find that once we reach the river our destination has been met. It is a great place to just let everything else go, be with friends and family, watch and listen to the river, observe eagles and (the occasional visiting) wildlife, and walk down to the river when you hear the call, 'Fish On!'
