The large backyard with its playground is perfect for children.
A tranquil wood creek behind the cabin offers a soothing soundtrack to your mountain retreat.
Location: Drive 5 min to Donner Lake and Truckee downtown restaurants, 20 min to Northstar, Alpine Meadows, Sugar Bowl, Palisades resorts, 2 min to Tahoe Donner Downhill ski resort, 35 min to Tahoe City, 40 min to Reno. Walk to Tahoe Donner Downhill Resort or hike to Hawks Peak, Eagle Rock, and Euer Valley trail system. Mountain bike trails are across the street on the nation famous cross country ski resort at Alder Creek. The Lake Tahoe area and the Donner Lake area offer a long list of outdoor activities, including world class skiing in the winter, spectacular hiking and biking in the summer, and breath-taking views a year long.

This 3200 sq. feet cabin is fully equipped and remodeled in 2024 after the winter storm. 5 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms, sleeps 17 people comfortably. Two large family rooms and loft with the pool table. It has a very big backyard with a metal play structure for kids. Den with extra queen bed.
Parking will accommodate up to six cars in addition to a 1-car garage.
Your dog will be happy to join you here!

After busy day outside you’ll be able to relax at home playing pool or table games. You may enjoy watching fire in the wood stove or watch a large flat-screen TV. We provide free WiFi Internet access. The large dining table can accommodate up to 12 persons comfortably and full kitchen will provide cozy atmosphere during your dinner. The best mountain views are seen from the loft.

very comfortable cabin and beautiful surroundings!
We lived in the cabin with our friends and their relatives. We spent a lot of time outside but having three separate levels in the house was really helpful. Everyone could find some peaceful space to relax. We really enjoyed playing pool. The swimming pool was also great, kids were ready to spend there all the time. Older kids were happy to play near the creek in "wilderness":)) Don't forget to see watch a sunset over the hills from the pool table area! The owners were always ready to answer all my questions. Thank you! We will come again!

Great house for larger groups
We were 4 families getting together over the Thanksgiving holidays. The house was perfect for us. Great location near Donner ski ranch, with easily accessible hiking and snow play. The 3 floors allowed us to put kids to bed away from the adults in the evening to make sure they could sleep without being disturbed, and the kitchen was sufficiently large for our group. We would come again.

Perfect for a large group
This cabin was perfect for our yearly family vacation. With 15 people including 3 teenagers and 4 younger children, the cabin was ideal for any age. The older ones loved the pool table, while the younger ones enjoyed the back yard jungle gym, which we felt was a really thoughtful addition to the home. The back deck offered a beautiful setting nestled in the pines. We were even treated to a small family of deer on two occasions. The home is set up perfectly to allow privacy for each family. With 2 TVs on different levels providing Netflix, it allowed part of our group to enjoy a lively game of cards, while the rest of us were able to enjoy a quiet movie downstairs. The large driveway and garage allowed plenty of room for 4 vehicles and a boat. We usually stay in Tahoe and agreed that Truckee/ Donner offers so much to do and has a great downtown area with good restaurants and shopping.We will be back ! There were some cleaning and condition issues which I am confident will be addressed before our next visit.

Incredible Cabin for Large Family
We had our Family Reunion with three generations of folks this past week and we had a fabulous time at the cabin! We had six families with lots of small children and the cabin was perfect for us! Two rooms upstairs, one on the main floor, and three downstairs gave everyone the privacy they needed. The large family area / kitchen were perfect for the rest of the time because we wanted to be together as much as possible! The location was great! About 30 minutes to North Shore activities and 1-1/2 hours to South Shore! The kids loved the outdoor play area and had a blast playing on the spacious deck! The property manager was extremely responsive to each of our needs . . . Such a breath of fresh air! We will definitely recommend this cabin to anyone who needs a large, comfortable place to stay! :-)
