Great comfortable neighborhood with great access!

  • 5 of 5

This area continues to get better and more comfortable with nice restaurants and bars.

I liked walking down along the Hudson to Fairway Market and then on to Dinosaur BBQ.

After dinner I just got on the subway at 125 and BRDWY and whizzed home. Also discovered a classic little Italian restaurant at LaSalle and Broadway --I think it was Pisticci's.

Owner's Response: Yes -- with Columbia University expanding now up to 135th and the beautiful CUNY campus just across Broadway and up to the East, there is a lovely diversity to the neighborhood of Hamilton Heights. The apartment is 3 blocks from the #1 subway so access to the entire city is easy.

We loved our stay

  • 5 of 5

Darlyn's brownstone apartment was beautiful, practically set up and comfortable. It is in a great neighborhood filled with tasty, fun restaurants, and the basics you need and very nice people. It is not so busy and hectic as one feels in the central city. The tube takes only 20 minutes to get down to mid town. We loved it! Darlyn is great.

Wonderful brownstone!

  • 5 of 5

Very cute with an adorable neighborhood! The building is quite old, but has a historical charm, and is kept up very well. We loved our few days here!

Was fine overall. Neighborhood a little different than expected but grew on us thru the week.

  • 3 of 5

Noise of upstairs neighbor coming and going thru the night was a bit bothersome, but the unit was entirely suitable for an apartment in Harlem.
