Why Neil Brown chose White Haven

Found property on top of a mountain with a magnificent view of

the Lehigh River Gorge. The chalet is built on the edge of a cliff -

50-mile view which relaxes us in all 4 seasons.

What makes this chalet unique

A 4-season resort area - chalet gives you easy access to all of the activities in the Poconos. At the same time we have all of the privacy we need - the best of both worlds.

Great views! Owner was personable and responsive

  • 3 of 5

House was great with the views as promised. The mattresses were very uncomfortable and difficult to sleep in and the air conditioning doesn't cool the whole house, just main areas. Otherwise, great house.

Quiet respite from a busy life!

  • 5 of 5

My group of friends and I loved this cabin - we were tired moms looking for some quiet and some time to talk to each other uninterrupted and we found it! The cabin was SO clean, beds comfortable, kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed, and the view was stunning. I can't offer any commentary on restaurants in the area because we cooked all our meals in the cabin. Any staff we encountered were incredibly generous and friendly and wanted to ensure we were having a good stay. Nearby Jim Thorpe and Glen Onoco Falls hiking were wonderful. Highly recommend this cabin - we'll be back!

Wonderful weekend retreat!

  • 5 of 5

We could not have ask for a better weekend away in the beautiful Mountain Vista. The house was very well appointed. All of the beds were made when we arrived and the home was very well taken care of. The view from the deck was amazing and we relaxed in the hot tub - the nights were cool and it was perfect!

My one recommendation would be to bring aluminum foil for baking/cooking and a clean sponge for the kitchen sink.

Winter Weekend

  • 5 of 5

Our group of six couples stayed here in February and this house was everything we expected and more! There was plenty of room - two open spaces for people to gather if you have a large group, with bedrooms and full bathrooms on every floor. The kitchen had everything we could have needed, all of the appliances worked without a problem. Everyone I communicated with was incredibly accommodating and responsive, we truly could not have asked for a better experience!

Now our group is looking forward to summer so we can enjoy the deck a little more and use the fire pit at night. If we are back in the area, we'll definitely be booking this house again!

Excellent Experience!

  • 5 of 5

8 adults and 8 kids stayed for a long weekend and found the house to be in excellent condition, comfortable and with everything that we needed. The owner was very responsive to a few questions we had during our stay and offered an early check in as well as an late check out. It snowed about 4 inches overnight and we awoke to find the porch step shoveled and salted. Ample firewood for the fire pit. Hot tub was nice with excellent views. We will definitely rent again.

Wonderful family weekend in the Poconos

  • 5 of 5

Plenty of room and lots of amenities for 8 adults. Went snowboarding nearby as well as horseback riding. Used the hot tub, played pool and sat out by the fire pit. Lots of fun family memories!
