About the property

One Bedroom Apartment Close To SoCo

Bouldin Creek Treehouse is an entirely furnished apartment located in Austin’s famous South Congress District (SoCo), available for short-term rental.

The Treehouse sits atop a brand new architecturally contemporary home that was designed with the idea of breaking down the barriers between indoor and outdoor spaces. This design element is evident throughout the house and the apartment.

The apartment, located on the second floor, has a private entrance, 9’ ceilings and two large 8’x8’ windows opening up the apartment to direct sunlight and a view of two 300-year-old live oak trees and Bouldin Creek.

The apartment comfortably sleeps four in its living area, with a queen-size bed and sleeper sofa, a full bathroom and furnished kitchen.

South Austin, and the South Congress district in particular is the foundation of what makes Austin the cultural hub it has become in recent years. The Bouldin Creek Treehouse is just blocks away from downtown and in walking distance from the shops and restaurants on South Congress and South First streets. Additionally, the Treehouse is less than a mile from a grocery store, dry cleaner, gas station and has direct access to multiple freeways (I-35, HWY 71, HWY 290).

The property was beautiful, with lots of open space, and shade trees, but also still felt very private. The apartment was great! A perfect example of really good design. Though a small space, everything was chosen with purpose so it felt very open too. We had enough space for two of us and our luggage. The bathroom shower area was open and inviting, enough counter space, though I could have used 1-2 more hooks for our towels. Comfortable bed and sheets, air conditioning, wonderful view of nature.

The location could not be better! A very short walk to several coffee shops, restaurants, taco stands, shops. With how close we were to all of this, the property itself still felt very peaceful and away from it all. Seriously - perfection - a perfect mix! Also the owners were super nice and accommodating. I can't speak highly enough of this property.

Perfect walking distance to WineBelly and Odd Duck as well as several funky coffee and taco spots. Tidy and high end linens. I will return.

great place in a terrific location!

  • 5 of 5

a lovely property that is wonderfully close to so many fun things to do in SoCo. comfortable and well-appointed modern interior. Despite being near a busy tourist area the environment is like a park with a creek bed along one side.

Note this is more like a studio apartment than a one bedroom but very roomy.

Awesome location , beautiful property !

  • 5 of 5

We had such a great time ! Spent the weekend at Scott’s for my daughters 21st birthday ! Just so happened to coincide with pride weekend . We had THE BEST location in town for everything. We had four of us girls and it was perfect ! Big plus we never lost hot water :)

The property is beautiful , I honestly can’t say enough about it . I saw in earlier reveiws that it wasn’t big enough for 4 but it was ... I think maybe people are overthinking how to use the futon as an actual pull out , as we did for few minutes . Everything was clean ! Sheets soft and fabulous ! Towels awesome ! It was perfect !

Also I used Uber a number of times during our stay and because of the great location not only was it super cheap ( cause everywhere you want to go is within 10 miles ) ... we only had to wait up to 3 min for a driver ! Highly recommend this property .
