About Diane Beeman (Manager)
I love my little cabin (and really miss living here full time). I grew up on Lake McQueeney and have always loved the water. I bought this cabin because of my love of wake boarding and the need to always be around the water, my boat and my wake boarding buddies. I rode professionally for about 8 years, then, as life goes, it was time to get a 'real job'. Now I'm away for about 5 months of the year and decided I'd like to share my great place with other water enthusiasts. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have!

Why Diane Beeman (Manager) chose Seguin
Some of our area lakes are really busy...a lot of noise and water traffic. Meadowlake is more laid back, more restful... Unlike a lot of Texas rivers and lakes, this one is constant level, even during dry times. There are beautiful, majestic pecan trees to keep you comfortably shaded. Bring your boat. There is a public marina not far from the house.

Away from it all
We loved our recent stay at this cabin. The cabin is adorable and well equipped with everything we needed. The host left us goodies upon are arrival. The lake is steps away from the cabin and is so peaceful - you truly get away from it all. We are already thinking about when we can get back again.
So glad you enjoyed your stay and thank you for the kind words!
Perfect spot for a couples getaway. Nice quiet spot to hang out on the river. Private dock to sit and relax. Fresh baked goodies for us when we arrived. Would definitely stay here again. Only wish the bed was a queen and not full size but that was the only downfall.
All the right stuff
It was our first time to get away together and we needed water, nature, rest and each other. The property provided great water, nature and rest. The space made for cozy closeness indoors and dreamy sunrises, sunsets, water and natural beauty outdoors. We returned home refreshed inspired and recharged.
We just wanted and needed to get away to rest and recharge! We want to be on the water, but not with the crowds found on the river in New Braunfels, etc. The cabin was perfect with everything that we needed to make it home for our time there. The property is gorgeous! Tall pecan trees, patio and a magnificent view of the water. It was so quiet and peaceful. We were there on a Saturday and Sunday and the traffic on the water was minimal! Literally on Monday and Tuesday we had it all to ourselves! We have put this property on the top of our list to book again!

Sweet little cabin on the beautiful banks of the Guadalupe River! Just the right size for a couple or small family. Fun things close by!
Quiet, peaceful and perfect
The host could not have been more positive and responsive. Was very helpful and accommodating. The property was well maintained and had easy access right into the river. There was a nice dock with lounge chairs to relax. This place is very quiet and it’s easy to forget about the houses on both sides of you. Plenty of yard room for horse shoes, croquet or any other yard game. IF I had to leave a comment about what could use improvement, it would be that the little ac unit seemed to have a hard time keeping the cabin cool even though we were religious about keeping the door closed and blinds shut. But that’s a normal summer in Texas for you. Great place overall and well worth the trip.
Meadowlake is minutes to the Seguin town square, Starke park (golf course and wave park) and ZDT's Amusement park. Close to New Braunfels (Schlitterbahn, rafting rapids, Natural Bridge Caverns), San Marcos (outlet mall), Gruene (winerys, restaurants, antiques), San Antonio (Alamo, Riverwalk, SeaWorld, Fiesta Texas).
