This gem is hidden in the trees along the shores of prestigious and crystal clear Calabogie Lake on a quiet bay across from the village. With 4,400 sq' of space, the cottage/home also has 160’ of private lakefront on a one acre, treed and private lot facing west for fabulous sunsets from the wrap around glass railed deck of enjoy one of 2 beautiful waterfront deck areas. There is a 6 person deck level hot tub near the sun room for all seasons. At the lakefront enjoy the 2 decks. The 6 person cedar barrel sauna is also situated at the lakeshore along with 2 aluminum docks that accent the waterfront and allow access to the water. Everything faces the mountain / west. Swim platform and a soon to be installed mini lakeside hot tub - (tub will be available in summer only.

Calabogie is the outdoor enthusiast’s dream with swimming, boating, fishing, golf, biking, hiking, world-class race track and more in summer. Enjoying the outdoor pleasures of winter including downhill and cross country skiing, skating/hockey on the nearby large, outdoor rink, plentiful snowmobile trails, and much more. Also the fantastic, famous fall foliage is spectacular. All these attractions as well as pubs (walking distance to Redneck Bistro with craft beer and good food and entertainment), restaurants, beer and liquor store, pizza and ice cream shop are less than 10 minutes from this one of a kind retreat.


Completed in 2010, the home has 4,400 sq feet of living area with hardwood, ceramic and engineered floors throughout, 5 bedrooms - the master bedroom has French door leading to private west-facing deck, vaulted pine ceiling, wall of windows, beautiful electric fireplace and huge ensuite bath with double sinks, huge shower and soaker tub; large 20’x20’ living room with vaulted ceiling, prow facing west/northwest, floor to ceiling windows as well as breathe-taking, massive stone wood burning fireplace, music and satellite TV; kitchen to die for with quartz counters and massive island for food preparation and entertaining and a large 16’x16’ eating area facing the wrap-around deck; screened four season sunroom off kitchen leading to sunken west-facing hot tub; 'L shaped' 44x24 upper deck overlooking grounds and lake, bon fire pit with lots of wood available, large 16’x12’ quiet and private lakeside deck with hammock as well as the main, large 20' x 20' cedar deck wrapped by a stone wall and steps that leads to a 32’ x 4' dock and a 24' x 6' dock with 3 kayaks, canoe, peddle boat, 12’ old fishing boat with oars, some life jackets and a floating 8’x 8’ swim platform. The lot slopes to the lake with stone steps for the nimble of foot and a continuous gentle path for others.


Master on main floor with king size bed, fireplace, private deck, ensuite with 2 sinks, large soaker tub and large walk in shower;

2 bedrooms on 2nd floor, one with Queen and the other with 2 doubles separated by a full bathroom and quiet loft area;

2 bedrooms in the lower level walk-out area, one with a King size bed and ensuite with shower and the other bedroom with single over double bunk plus 2 single beds. This room is adjacent to a full bathroom.

All beds boast pillow top / high end mattresses for your sleeping comfort. Each of the 5 bedrooms has a view of the lake as well ashaving windows on 2 sides for soothing evening breezes.


Fully equipped for a large group with all cooking utensils and pots and pans for double convection wall oven and induction 36”, 5 burner cooktop. All stainless steel appliances and plenty of overhead, task and mood lighting. Dining room boasts beautiful pine vaulted ceiling and has a huge dining table.


The kitchen and eating areas lead to the huge deck through 2 French doors that lead to the glass railed sitting/lounging and BBQ area. Enjoy some relaxing time in the sunken hot tub situated just outside the 12’ x 14’ winterized sun room.

The sunroom off the kitchen is cedar lined with full screened windows on all sides and can be used as separate eating or lounging area in all seasons, is an excellent staging area for the hot tub and is a great spot to dry winter sports equipment.

Living / Great Room has 52' HD Satellite TV, high end surround sound and music system. Listen to music, watch TV, enjoy a warm fire and take in the amazing lake view while relaxing in the soft Italian leather furniture. Music lovers will enjoy their favourite tunes from the speakers in living, dining, sunroom and outside deck areas.

Family / Recreation / Games room on lower / walk-out level has a 58' Plasma HD TV with Blue Ray, high end surround sound and music system. This area has 6' windows facing the lake and lots to entertain all ages. Entire lower level is fully finished with heated floors throughout and leads to grounds through French doors.

Features include high speed wireless internet, AC, ceiling fans in many rooms and beautiful hardwood floors as well as gorgeous pine trim throughout. Don’t worry about power failures that happen in the country on occasion because there is an automatic back-up generator that will power your needs in such an emergency.

Best of all it has everything you need and more. Come and get away from the fast paced city life while vacationing in luxurious surroundings!

We rent to families and adults over 27 years of age. No parties or young singles please.

Cleaning fee of $200 (4 hours x 2 people x $25) is the norm. If more cleaning is required it is likely due to excessive mess so additional charges will apply at $25 per person per hour. Home to be left clean and tidy with normal cleaning required.

Special 5 night offer available upon request for Sunday to Friday off season.

April and Nov are low seasons, May and Oct are mid seasons, and June and Sept are high season. Please inquire directly with owner.
