Comfortable One Bedroom Condo w/Awesome View at Mammoth

Our nicely furnished and decorated condo has a beautiful view of the Sherwin Mountains from the living room and its balcony and natural landscape from its bedroom. It has one bedroom with a king size bed with a walk-in closet and two single sleeper sofas in the living room. The living room has a wood burning EPA approved fireplace. The kitchen is fully equipped. The condo has a 40' Flat Screen TV/DVD/CD in living area. There are also private access high speed wi-fi. premium cable, and an additional Flat Screen TV/DVD in the king bedroom. Guests have access to a newer pool (operating in the Summer) and jacuzzi and laundry facilities. There are about 35 steps to get to condo and its view. It also comes with a single enclosed car garage plus one first come first serve outside parking. There are barbques located in the common area. Bigwood is nestled among big pine trees and located in a quiet walk neighborhood in town of Mammoth Lakes. Bigwood is located near two of the main ski access areas as well as the Sierra Star golf course and the Village; all within one mile. High country lake fishing is also close to Bigwood. A free shuttle located a few blocks away from the complex travels to Eagle Lodge and the Village.

Cold Showers
It is true that the view and location were nice. Having a small garage was convenient. The unit was comfortable, but shows its age. Snow on the roof makes it harder to open the sliders. The cold water handle in the shower did not stop spinning, so it was impossible to have a shower that was hot. This was unfortunate after a day of being out in the snow. I texted the owner to let them know, and was told that they were already aware of the issue! BBBRRRR! That was a cold shower!

Great stay, accommodating host
Hello. We had a great stay at the condo. It was exactly as described, had a well stocked kitchen with many basics and plenty of cookware. Entry was easy and it was great to have a garage to park in. Also the hosts were very accommodating in helping us sort out a situation beyond their control, when a snowstorm knocked out power to the complex on our first night there. Definitely would book with them again.

Cozy comfortable one bedroom cabin
It is in a convenient neighborhood, close to Canyon lodge. There are two sofa beds in the living room, comfortable for our family of 4.
